Came here with a company/group event in the winter and I was pleasantly surprised with the dishes served down to the desert. Great selection of beers and scotches.

Our recent experience was extremely disappointing. The food was mediocre and over priced. I ordered the duck breast topped with fois gras for $33. I was informed that the kitchen was out of fois gras so the price of the dish had been reduced to $32. I mean really? Why even both. It was only ok and was served cold. My hubby's $39 steak was nicely prepared but small. The sides on both dishes were disappointing.
The service was prompt but unprofessional. Our waiter greeted us by trying to hawk expensive filtered water. It would have been nice if he had acknowledged that this was our anniversary dinner which we had indicated on our reservation and which he later seemed to be aware of.
With so many other fine dining options in Ottawa, we won't be back. The one saving grace was the $0 corkage fee for wine after 9 pm.
