Newly minted Jules & Eve opened its doors for the first time this past Saturday, giving new blood to what has become a rather stale part of town. Kerrisdale. Is overflowing with places that cater to an older crowd, one that is more family-oriented. Jules & Eve gives the area a much-needed injection of youth and fun.
The clothes are hip, young and fresh. They carry a range of international designers as well as local ones from all over Canada, the States and the UK, including Development and Twelve8Twelve by British actress Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah. The styles vary from pretty Tara Jarmon pieces and fun little sparkly accessories to offbeat and gritty boots.
Jules & Eve have definitely created more incentive to visit this neck of the woods. -

I love fashion boutiques that are more on the girly side. Stores that sell pretty dresses, fancy shoes, charming jewelery and feminine knick knacks are my kind of stores!
The perfect example of this is Jules and Eve. Owner Sara Yeong just opened her doors this past weekend in the Kerrisdale area. The store consists of a well balanced mix of local and international labels including: Development (one of my favorites), Cynthia Rowley, Twenty8Twelve, and Vancouver talents Lily + Jae and Jason Matlo.

Jules and Eve is an addition to Kerrisdale's on-trend and high-end reputation. After all, Hills is just down the block. Owner Sarah Au Yeung's brilliant fashion sense is translated into feminine dresses on the racks and STILA make up behind the counter. The shop has that Euro-chic look and the collections are pretty. Cynthia Rowley, Tara Jarmon and Vancouver's Lily+Jae are just some of the labels to choose from. There are also lots of accessories like clutches, bags and necklaces by Sugarlime and Sublime to choose from.

Jules & Eve opened its door last Nov 2008 and it is now known as the hottest dress store in Vancouver with dresses spotted on TV series Gossip Girls, Sex in the City and on the most celebrated magazines such InStyle, Vogue and Allure.

Sara Au Yeong has always love fashion and make-up. Owning a dress store in Kerrisdale has always been her dream for the last 7 years. With training in fashion design, merchandising and training in make-up artistry and jewellery design, Jules & Eve is Sara's dream creation.
