TUES-FRI Before 3pm $25 Gel manicure.
Super cozy and cute place to get your nails done. It does not smell like a nail polish and you have a comfy chair to relax in while getting your nails done.
Jerrica has been there for 3 years and is an amazing person. She is super nice and paints your nails to the perfection.
Def coming back and you should go check them out. Make an appointment because they do get busy :) -

Been coming here for a few months and it just seems like I become more and more disappointed..
The first visit was great! Got a gel manicure by one of the owners. Don't know her name but she was wearing a J necklace so we shall call her Ms. J. She's super friendly and my gel lasted a good THREE WEEKS. Didn't chip or start to lift up off the nail. She really took her time and I felt well taken care of.
Every time after that, Ms. J would start my nails and pass me off to someone else! Noooo! Gel nails start to go kuhpoot after a week or so. It's not like I go around digging holes in my backyard or anything. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Probably time to start looking elsewhere! -

After brunch with my girlfriends, we decided to continue our Sunday fun-day by getting mani pedis. We had 230 appointments for our party of 3. We arrived there 20 mins before our actual appointment time. They started all of us 15 mins ahead of our actual appointment. Additionally, I was getting a gel mani, and they have the most gel color options I've seen to date. Maybe 5 pages of color options, so I was super excited! Most nail salons never start you on time, let alone earlier than your actual appointment time.
But that is where the kind words start and stop. June, who did my nails, cut my cuticles. On 4 of my fingers! Not sure if she's new to the job..? But that is a 60% success rate... EPIC FAIL!!! My 4 fingers were sore for 5 days while my cuticles healed and scabbed over. By the way... 4 scabby cuticles equals not sexy. At the end when I went to pay, you'd think the owner or manager would have had the decency to give me a discount or at least offer me a freebie for next time... nope! She still charged me the $25 dollars. I did not give a tip except to say if you want patrons to return, try not injuring them 15 mins into their service. If I could give 0 stars or 2 thumbs down on Yelp, I would. Won't be going there, and you shouldn't either... -

1.5 hour manicure...
If you're in a hurry, I don't think this is the place for you. I think if you were here just for a relaxing afternoon with girlfriends, this would be an OK place... but even then, there might be better options unless you happened to be in the neighborhood.
While yes, thankful that they took me as a last minute walk-in, an hour and a half later, my manicure while carefully done... questionable on the quality.
I'll be back - to try to pedicure and maybe the gel. It looks like the ladies who walked out with the gel manis had way better luck than me with the regular mani. -

I have always been a big fan of this place. The girls are friendly and nice, but the quality of their work is inconsistent. I think I finally have to say bye to this place. I do agree with other yelpers that their quality of work is not as good as they used to be. The new girl who did my pedicure did a really bad job, the nail is uneven and it is already chipped (within in 1 day).
P.S. They don't have the basic mani/pedi special before 3pm on weekdays anymore. And I sure will not pay $35+$10 tip=$45 for inconsistency of their work.
P.P.S Their choices of nail polishes are very limited compared to other places.1 Previous Review: Show all »

San Francisco, CA
So sad. I work on the same block as this place and really wanted to make this my new manicure spot. Yelp reviews seemed promising and it looks cute from outside.
I made an appointment to come during my lunch break. I wanted a gel manicure. Things were going well... I could tell it wasn't going to be the best looking mani ever, but oh well. She cut half my nails too short and filed enough to make my skin red.
I was 5 minutes from being done and the manager (or someone who seemed in charge) came over to inspect. She was not satisfied, so tried to touch it up. Then without asking how I felt about it, she insisted the whole thing be removed. Removing a gel manicure isn't fun because it has to be soaked in 100% acetone then scraped off. Worse yet, the nail utensils fell on the ground twice, and were not replaced. By this time, I was 40 minutes into my one hour lunch (at a new job!). I asked to come back the next day and told her I had to return to the office, but the manager said they would be too busy tomorrow and continued to do my nails in a frenzy. It was the most anxiety-inducing nail experience I've ever had! By the time it was over, the whole thing had taken an hour and 15 minutes.
After this truly awful experience, I was dismayed that she still charged me. She mentioned how it was $5 off because it was before 3pm. Great... that's still $25 more dollars than this experience was worth. -

This place is super cute. Almost shabby chic minus the chair recliners.
We were offered tea/water when we walked in.
I really like how they worked on my nails before giving me my pedicure. It just makes so much more sense and it allows my nails extra time to dry. At most or all nail salons, pedicure is usually being done first and my nails last. even under the UV light for about 20 minutes, my nails get smudged. But this time my nails came out flawlessly.
My only complaint is having to pay the bill, before they do your nails. This absolutely ruins it for me. The experience goes downhill after that.
Tip = cash only.
Though they do a lovely job here, I don't feel like I'll be returning. -

I love Juicy Nails! I've been coming here for a few years now and am provided with a wonderful experience each time. I usually come here for their waxing services, Jerrica, Lynne and Stephanie are all excellent at sculpting the perfect brows. They take their time and try to make the experience as painless as possible. I've also gotten my nails done here a couple of times and they came out perfectly. The mani/pedi also lasts a long time (a definitely plus)! The place is very homey and they always make me feel welcomed upon entering.

Walked in around noon on a Wednesday to get a gel mani done but saw they were busy and they asked I come back in 1/2 hour. When I came back, they were just finishing up on another lady and I sat down to check out their colors. Their decor is very cute, sweet, and was very comforting with the warm colored walls and accessories. I completely relaxed during my mani and almost fell asleep! Jerrica took care of me and she spent so much time on just filing and shaping my nails that I knew I was in good hands. My finger nails never looked better! Jerrica and I had a very fun conversation about traveling and food so I felt at ease and really just felt like I was sitting in my girl friend's house just chatting. I also ended up getting my eyebrows waxed by Lynn and I am absolutely happy with her service too!
If you want service and attention to detail, come to Juicy!
Thanks Jerrica and Lynn! -

San Francisco, CA
The girl who normally does my gel manicures had to fly out of the country for a few weeks and I was in desperate need of a manicure.
So I did an online search for gel manicures and this salon came up.
The salon itself was quaint in an ideal location and very clean. The service was fantastic! They're very sweet and accommodating; offering tea or water as soon as they settle you into a recliner. They spoke in perfect English not only to the clients but to each other. And if they needed to speak in Chinese, they would explain to us what was said--and that is something I have NEVER experienced! I automatically felt comfortable. I had the pleasure of having Lynn do my nails and she did a great job. Although I will continue to see my regular gal for my nails, I do see myself paying a visit to this place again--perhaps a lot sooner than later.
After this experience, I highly recommend Juicy Nails!
P.S. During the week they have a special on gel manicures: $25 before 3 pm :) -

*This review is only about the waxing.*
Fellas mind your business! Ok so I had an appointment with Stephaine for a wax. Juicy looks small from the outside but there is a downstairs floor solely for waxing. The room was spacious with a heated padded waxing table, which made the experience much more bearable. Stephaine took her time and kept asking if I was doing ok. They don't double dip here which is a plus. The overall experience took about 1 hour, but was totally worth it. The shop is very warm and inviting with super friendly staff. I heart all things juicy.
p.s- the price was great.Listed in: Mirror mirror on the wall....

I just moved to SF & used Yelp to find a local nail salon. This is only the 2nd nail place that I have been to ever & I love it. I don't find the girls as super friendly as other people do but I think that's because it's so relaxing that I completely zone out :) as for the normal manicure I love it! I have problems with dry brittle nails & shouldn't even be getting manicures (I love pretty nails) but when I took the polish off from my first juicy manicure they looked stronger & hadn't split! Go figure! I give these guys 2 pretty polished thumbs up!

OMG! I can be very critical when it comes to my reviews. I want to make sure that the businesses that get the 5 stars really deserve it. That's just the yelper I am. ;-)
So, anyways, Yelped nail salons in the area and *ta-da* Juicy Nails was #1 on the list. Checked out the reviews and decided to walk my lazy ass several blocks uphill to Juicy. So glad I did! Everything the reviewers say is sooo true. Super nice girls that own/run the joint. I was fortunate to meet and have Lynn be my girl today. She was very attentive and made sure I was comfy with the mags and beverages I needed to feel right at home. And I did. They just have such a cute and refreshing way of presenting a great mani/pedi experience. I was one of two peeps there on a Wednesday afternoon. I got a gel mani done (before 3pm - $25!). It was not rushed, so definitely make time for this attentive salon. Lynn took her time with my cuticles and with prepping my nails for polishing, which by the way, has never been something I've experienced. She was so friendly and chatted with me off and on. I felt like I was at a girlfriend's house hanging out. She made sure each nail was shaped, clipped, and polished to perfection. These ladies are AMAZING! I will definitely be bookmarking this place and will be coming back next time I'm in town.

Awesome! i came here for mani and pedi.
The owners were there to greet me and were both very welcoming and sweet.
I got shellac on my fingers and regular on my toes.
The place was roomie, clean and sanitary. I love the yellow walls and the cute little signs hung around the store.
The main floor is for nails and downstairs for the waxing.
they were also very accommodating as it is 2 days before NYE.
I am definitely coming back :) -

I was referred here by a friend and Juicy Nails really did not disappoint. I went in around noon on a weekday so it was fairly empty and I didn't need an appointment. I decided to do one of their special pedis, the tea pedicure and received a free manicure with it. June did an amazing job on my nails. She paid so much attention while shaping them and polishing them. The massage and scrub were also a nice bonus. The staff in general checked on me several times throughout my time there and ensured I didn't leave before my nails dried.
I definitely plan to go back there again soon! -

This place is amazing! I went in for a delux pedi and got a mani for free! all for $38! All of their scented soaks, scrubs, and masks were amazing, yet had natural fragrances (im allergic to artificial fragrances). I got the lavandar package. So relaxing!
The customer service was phenomenal! and the nails turned out well. Would definitely go again. -

I wish I lived in San Francisco! I almost don't want to write this review, because I don't want it to be crowded when I come back to visit! I got the Lavy Juice Pedicure, which was priced the same as a standard pedi where I usually go back home. The lavender was fragrant and the warm lotion later on was soothing. She even trimmed my nails according to the pain I feel when I walk. How thoughtful! Now if only they would open one in Philadelphia!

Review from Gail N.
One of the BEST mani pedi experiences I've ever had! $38 for one of the special pedis (includes scented foot bath, scrub, warm lotion and massage) before 3pm and the manicure is no extra charge! (If you want just a regular mani and pedi it's $32 all day).
Nails are perfect! They really really pay very close attention to perfecting them and will make sure you stay put till they're completely dry! Well appreciated!
Service is real friendly, warm and professional all at once! I must've been asked "anything I can get you? You good?" aout 10 times.
Place is also real cozy. Sure does feel like you're getting your nails done at grandmas :)
TIP: make an appointment before you come! They are buuusssy!
Juicy Nails will definitely be my new neighborhood pampering spot :) -

I found this neighborhood nail salon when they first opened. I was on vacation and found them on Pacific Street. I would always come in for my manicure/pedicure when I was on vacation. Now that I am living in the city, I have been seeing them for manicure and pedicures. Love the early bird special on the week days before 3pm!

Review from S. K.
San Francisco, CA
The best nail service I've had and that says a lot coming from me. I am never satisfied at nail salons and poor quality will trump the massaging and pampering.
So if you get your nails done here, expect about an hour to be finished because they do a thorough job. I got one of their special pedis and got a mani free. When you walk in, make sure you depress the lever above the handle (of the door) or you would spend too much time struggling with opening the door. The place is very cute and yellow with a modern selection of music playing in the background. Everyone is really nice and tries their best to make you feel comfortable. They don't rush you at all.
The main thing I judge a nail salon is based on their quality of the job done. Everything else is the same as what you can get anywhere else (beverage, cozy environment, friendly staff, massaging, etc). They really take their time in making sure the polish is on evenly and does not get on anything other than the nail itself which will lead to a higher likelihood that your polish will last longer. And for ~ $50 including tip, it better.
The polish was applied very evenly (I got a total of 2 bubbles which I'll let slide). I did, however, wish they had spent a little more time making the top of my nail parallel to my bottom (square nails) when cutting because I'm a perfectionist. All and all, they did their best and it was well worth the price which is more than what I can say about other ones. Thank you Yelp because otherwise I would've missed this place and I live right across the street..
Oh yea, cash tip only. -

The shop has a very homey feel with big comfy recliners. I felt like I was in someones living room. it is very clean and smells great. It is nice to have a shop that doesn't deal with artificial nails. I think that massage pads on the recliners would be a nice WOW feature. Manicure and pedicure look great! Staff is really friendly! I will go back for sure. I wanted to try the waxing but the lady was out today so will be back for that.

Best Mani & Pedi in the city.
These guys are the whole, cute, gorgeous, professional and particular package.
I go pretty regularly, but their stand out moment was when I got a french gel manicure from them and it lasted 3 weeks. I work as a chef, I fanatically wash my hands, I swim in the bay at least 3 times a week and I work out at least that much. And my nails lasted through that looking gorgeous. -

:(
If you've been visiting Juicy since it first open then you probably noticed the quality just isn't the same as what it used to be. I raved about this place so often back then but now, I don't think it's much better than the next place.
When they started hiring new people some time ago, I became skeptical about whether or not they can maintain the quality. I sporadically got mani-pedis and it just wasn't the same. I gave it a try again in May and well, let's just say I'm much better off doing my own nails.
With that said I still loved Juicy for its waxing service. Jerrica is awesome. Even for those dreaded areas. She does it in 2 goes, one for each side. Unimaginably painful but short and sweet. She also knows how to relieve pain so it's really not so bad. I went in today for waxing and was disappointed that someone new helped me. Stephanie was her name and she did NOT know how to relieve pain. Pressed other areas and didn't press hard enough. And she did it in multiple steps, and mostly with hot wax + strips instead of mostly cold wax. Nonetheless she did a good job I guess. What I was really disappointed in was the price. Yesterday I passed by and the sign read Tues-Wed before 3pm, brazilian wax $25+. I was charged $40 today. In May, it was $35. Ok, new store, new workers, higher operational costs, yea, yea. I still feel really deceived by the sign.
The atmosphere of the store also changed. In the bigger store it doesn't feel as homey anymore. And I feel like the workers aren't as nice/smiley either. Overall, I'm just sad that Juicy isn't what it used to be and it pains me to give it a lower rating.2 Previous Reviews: Show all »

This is probably the 2nd time I've made a review on Yelp, but I MUST comment on how much i love going to Juicy Nails! Of all the places I've gotten my mani/pedi, this is the best experience i've had so far! The place is cozy, fun and relaxing and their service is so detail and attentive. They are all about making your nails look pretty, even if it means taking extra time to re-do it. The colors last longer than other places I've been to and most importantly all for a reasonable price- Must go try and experience it yourself!

Update for gel nails only...
I really wanted to love their gel nails because I love this salon so much, sadly though I don't think my technician quite knew how to do the process and the gel polish chipped off one nail entirely later that night. The rest of the nails were soon to follow. Sadly when gel chips off it takes a bit of the top layer of your nail, damaging it, which sucks.
Great place for your standard manipedi, but I'd advise somewhere else for gel.1 Previous Review: Show all »

AWESOME SALON!
Pros:
- Place is SUPER cute
- Staff, especially the owner is REALLY friendly
- Very clean, everyone is very attentive
- Offers you water/tea when you walk in.
- Very accommodating to your needs - I didn't have sandals so they wrapped my toes in plastic wrap before I put my boots on to protect my nails.
- Very reasonably priced. Manicures = 10 bucks, Pedicures = 22 I think
Cons:
- Tips - cash only
- Some of the staff didn't speak good English, but its not really a huge problem communicating since there are plenty of English speaking staff around
I'll definitely come back to get my nails done and to get waxed! I'm so glad I found a new salon I liked close to my apartment! -

I love this place. They have friendly staff, so many gel colors (shellac) to choose from. Gel mani $28 gel application only is $20. Regular mani is $10, pedi is 22. When you book it together they are $29. Special pedicure is $35. Tips are cash only. They have lots of polish to choose from and they recommended a nail treatment to buy when my nails were very thin and brittle. Everything is disposable and sanitized, no dirty spa jet tubs here! I comeback often and I am never disappointed. Quiet location for relaxation. I am a huge fan of you juicy!

My favorite nail salon so far in SF!
Their service was fantastic! Juicy nails is cute and quaint. When you walk in, the ladies give you tea, or whatever beverage you prefer, sit you down and somehow get right to work without you feeling rushed. They have a great selection of colors from OPI and other polishes (including organic nail polish). They did such a fantastic job on my nails that I will totally make another appointment and travel across the city just to get my nails done by them again! -
Review from Miranda R.
San Francisco, CA
I was originally referred to this place by a friend who gets the gel manicure done. It is supposed to last for 3 weeks. This sounds great... My nails will always look good without the hassle of having to keep going back.
On my first visit Lynne starts out with my gel manicure while June does my pedicure. After the pedicure is finished Lynne has another client come in so June is supposed to be taking over the manicure. I paid $67 on this visit ($50 for gel manicure & regular pedicure, $7 extra for French style manicure, and $10 tip).
Not even 5 days later my manicure is already chipping away! What??? This is supposed to be lasting for 3 weeks! I go back to Juicy nails for Lynne to fix this problem. She apologized for the mistake saying that June shouldn't have used the acetone when doing the French tips and that is why it is chipping away so fast. After Lynne finishes the 2nd attempt at the manicure (this time I just get straight polish in the hopes of avoiding the mess I had last time) the polish is still not on even with streaks in it.
While talking to my friend who recommended the place she suggests that I request Jerrica, she seems to do the best job. So 2 weeks later I go back and make an appointment with Jerrica. I absolutely love my nails! Polish is even, lasts for 3 weeks. PERFECT! Well worth the $60 cost.
That is until today I call to make an appointment with Jerrica and I am informed over the phone that they no longer take requests for who does the nails.... I'm sorry but if I am paying $60 for a manicure/pedicure I want to make sure that it is someone who is doing a good job. So I decide that I am going to stop by to have the gel removed before I go back to my old manicure shop. June spends about 10 minutes removing the gel and when I go to pay they charge me $15. What???? A whole manicure doesn't even cost that much??? I guess they needed to squeeze a few exra dollars out of my last visit to this shop.
I hate to have to write this review. I was so happy after the last time I was there. Jerrica and Lynne if you don't want people requesting a particular person then you should make sure everyone is doing a good job.
For anyone who does try to venture to this shop be prepared parking is a hassle in this neighborhood! -

I live so close to this place, it's actually embarrassing I didn't start coming here sooner. You can usually get appointments within a half hour. Everyone is really courteous, repeatedly explaining what they're doing and asking if I'm comfortable.
The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing.
You likely will not find parking if you're planning to drive.
And bring cash for tips. They can't be added to your card. -

I have been searching the Nob Hill area for the best place to get my nails done and I believe my search is over. Yesterday I went into Juicy Nails for the first time and loved it! The girls were friendly and the atmosphere clean and inviting. I have often gone into nail salons where the owner and workers ignore you and talk to each other. Juicy was the oposite with everyone (including the patrons) smiling and friendly.
Their prices are fantastic, they offer several kinds of special pedicure options including one where you rest your feet in water and rose petals! Not to mention you recline in sofa chairs while your nails are done.
Next time I will be sure to book in advance, thanks so much for letting me in last minute! -

Juicy Nails is the hottest nail salon in all of San Francisco!
I have been getting my nails done since I was 7 years old (now 23 years old) and have not been to a better nail salon-seriously! Not only is it reasonably priced, especially for college students like myself, they welcome you with open arms and a serious talent for what they do. They are located on a quiet, little corner on the border of Nob Hill and Chinatown so you can enjoy one of their manicures and "special" pedicures in a homey setting.
Since moving to San Francisco from Orange County 6 months ago I have not been able to find a nail salon so worthy. Please, GO! You won't regret it.
I highly recommend a "special" pedicure. They have 4 different choices to choose from: Rose, Tea, Lavender (my favorite), and Orange. Each begin with a warm foot bath and either include yogurt or sugar, a hot mask, and a 10 minute massage. It is only $35 for a special pedicure plus $5 extra for a manicure. Totally worth it, and leaves your skin feeling silky soft!
Great birthday present to myself. :)
Enjoy! -

Admiring my new mani as I write this review. I usually only read reviews on Yelp but I was so impressed with this place! The shop has a cute decor and is clean and well kept. Their random mix of relaxing music adds to the peaceful environment.
I got a regular french mani and they did a beautiful job. The woman working on me made sure each nail was shaped to my satisfaction. She paid a lot of attention to the lines to make sure they came out looking fabulous. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff is so friendly. I went to Juicy Nails when they were at their old place on Pacific Ave, but the new place on Mason St. is great as wonderful, but i do miss the sweet small atmosphere of the old place. Went here with my mom and sisters to get our nails done and they were super sweet.
Every time I come here I get the friendliest service and the most relaxing time. They never rush on your nails, which i love because I feel they do really take their time to perfect your nails and their prices are really great for the job that they do.
What got me writing this review now after going there so many times? Well, I had to see if it was a one and only time thing or if it was great service everytime, which it is.
I will have to make an appointment with them soon. -
