Review from Edward L.
My buddy and I went on a "Yelp 1st Review" hunting trip and ended up here. Yet another recommended spot for late-nite munchies.
Parking is ample, thanks to the restaurant being being part of a strip mall.
Don't let the extreme lack of English signage scare you. The menus are bilingual, and I'm not talking French.
There was a large banner out front: "Lunch specials, Afternoon dimsum, Beautiful Congee, All styles of soup and noodles, Beautiful Vegetables, Dinner + Latenite" The banner also states that the place is open 1100 - 0100 7 days a week, but their business card says 1000 - 0100 though. Your best bet is to come at 1100 haha.
The windows are all frosted, so you can't see outside at all. To be honest, this gives the restaurant a strangely authentic HK feel. The owners were friendly, and the the decor is nice, with restaurant-grade chairs and carpeting. There is a TV airing TVB dramas.
The dishes were well done. I really liked the presentation. The side dishes are all served using stylish octagon-shaped plates. We had hot + sour soup (tasty), congee, spinach with shredded beef, and the sweet + sour pork. The pork dish stood out, as the pineapple chunks and peppers were generous.
Sometimes you just never know when the place you try turns out to be awesome. I will be back again. -

Friendly services
Price reasonable
they used to promote their daily 3.99 lunch noodle special, but there was not a single sign inside or a menu for that. When I walked out, voila one lonely sitting in the middle of countless signs.
quantity in terms of ingredients and quality could be better - let me clarify this, we had lunch combo for $12 + 3 for veggie. The congee bowl was huge, since it is cheap, but watery and tilapia slices were minimal (with bits of small bones). The noodle arrived in much smaller 6" narrow dish - tasty but oily. Here is the worst part, the guylan is such a popular veggie in any Chinese restaurant, yet we were served with "old" and chewy pieces.
I could add a star for the manager/owner wanting to improve, he asked his regular patrons for commenting on his food, but he did not care much asking the rest of the other patrons.
I have been to this restaurant before, for what I got compared to previous visits and other places now, it makes to my list of not recommended. -
Review from H T.
It is a small restaurant, with great price. The food is good. We ordered fried tofu, fried rice, house special noodle, tossed duck noodle, spicy calamari. We came back there again on our 2nd day. We will come back here again on trip to BC.

Review from Emily M.
The family and I were starving around nine so we decided to dine at this restaurant. The service was decent; our waitress was pretty attentive. We ordered three dishes and out of them all, I liked the minced pork with spinach. The portions are huge so the money spent is well worth it. Their salt & pepper pork chop is really good too. We all left with satisfaction.
