Ahhhhh...a taste of pub with a shot of fun! I love this place! Whether you're looking for a fun time on the VLT machines, an afternoon of singing or a just a nice meal, the Jolly Mug is the place to go. It's a great fit for any crowd.
I stopped in on a Thursday night to enjoy some wings and I was pleased with the food and the service. I was on a way to a movie in the Bayer's Lake park so it was a convenient stop for us with lots of parking close to the door. I ordered a plate of chicken wings with sauce on the side and they were excellent!! I enjoy the wings and a few beer for under $30.00. The wings are $.30 each and are nicely breaded and the sauce was a perfect consistency. I find some wings come with a think sauce, hence the reason why I ask for sauce in the side in case it's too think. The wings had a nice spicy sing to them.
They must have been short-staffed because our poor waitress was run off her feet. They were quite busy and there should have been at least 1 other person helping her. We did wait a while for our food but that was okay because we put a few dollars in the machines to occupy our time.
The restaurant was very clean and had a nice open concept to the dining area. I will definitely go back!
