Jolie Fashions always has me at hello. I love the styling of the mannequins visible from the street; they beckon me into the store and cause me to tremble with trepidation for what I'll find.
But I've never found anything at Jolie I've loved too much to leave. There is plenty here to really like -- lots of color, patterns, and fun cuts. Yet there is still an ingredient lacking that baffles me.
Think funky dresses, well-placed ruffles, and shoes as cute as a gingerbread house at prices under $50 or so. Whenever I'm shopping along Fourth Ave. I won't hesitate to visit Jolie, and one day I just know it'll work out for the two of us. You've gotta keep believing.
