Quick lunch is right. Great place for a quick breakfast as well. This place is busy but you don't usually have to wait to get a table. The service is pleasant and it's a great place to drink lots of coffee and just have a relaxing breakfast, but not have to wait too long for it to come out!!
Their milkshakes are really tasty, and HUGE (I recommend sharing)
we had the traditional breakfast, and the plates are a good size. They will poach your eggs how you want them if you get the bene, and the sauce doesn't have that fake taste (although I'm pretty sure it is;)- -

John's is a very pleasant, family-friendly restaurant that is always full for breakfast. I haven't eaten there other times, but if you are looking for a reasonably priced, but not-too-greasy spoon, this place is it.
