The food here is a bit greasy but what do you expect from here, it's like a fast food place for late night snack.
I have to agree with the rest of the reviewers, food does take a long time while the server would refill of your soft drinks and I get all filled up with liquid.
the price is decent with large size dishes, in the evening the lighting is very dimmed and some of the customers that comes here can be very intimidating -

We had a group gathering at Johnny G's a couple of weeks ago. Turn out was better than expected and about 20 people showed up. They were really good about accommodating our large group, especially with people constantly coming and going.
We were seated at one really long table, which wasn't a bad arrangement in that we all got to sit together, but wasn't great because it was impossible to talk to people who weren't seated right next to or across from you (though I'm not sure how the seating arrangement could have been better.)
The food was pretty good. I ordered the Thai Lime Chicken Salad. The were out of which ever veggies were supposed to be on the salad, so the waitress asked if they could substitute lettuce, which worked out just fine. My Singapore Sling as also good.
Service was... spotty. I showed up slightly after the main group got there, and it took what seemed like forever for the waitress to come by and bring me water. Maybe 20 minutes? I eventually had to ask and I feel like I kind of pissed her off by saying something, cause she called me "ma'am" all night (didn't address anyone else at my end of the table like this) and sort of exuded an overly-polite, kind of condescendingly sweet attitude the rest of the night. It was kind of awkward.
There was one food mix up which got mostly corrected and the bills were not all correct, though with one server for a party that size I can't fault her too much for the bills not being perfect.
They had no Interac - I don't remember if it was just that day or a standard thing for them. There was an ATM but I'm never impressed when I have to spend $3 just to take out $20.
It was not a bad little place - if they stepped up the level of service it would have been really quite great. -

This is a Canadian version of Denny's. A place where they serve hearty meals topped with gravy. Food was pretty good but the service somewhat took awhile. Once again, no iced teas, but it must be a Canadian thing. They gotta get some freshly brewed iced tea made out in these parts of Canada or I may never come back!
The staff were friendly enough, the place was empty when we came in so I'm wondering why service wasn't much quicker. Though it was late and possibly they were tired? Either way, I was famished and needed my food.
Like all Denny's, this place appeared grimey. But I guess what do you expect from a hearty food/ bar restaurant type...Okay but all in all the food was pretty damn good. I had a meatloaf slathered in gravy and some mashed potatoes and french fries on the side. What can I say? I'm a potato lover.
The place just seemed too dark. I couldn't really see my food but maybe that's the point in a place that serves heart cloggers :) -

Cheap prices, too much food and I always get sick from it, and a long wait to be served
