Can someone say addicted! Well, I have 5 pairs of Fluevogs... I was hooked after my first pair. Unfortunately, I've changed jobs and I don't travel to Toronto or Vancouver as often as I used to and Halifax doesn't have a Fluevog store... My wallet is a little happier but my feet really miss the feel of a new pair of Fluevogs.

My first pair and go-to black shoe, purchased 8 years ago, just died on me beyond cobbler repair... it was a sad moment but really, 8 years for a pair of shoes that I wore 80% of the time.... well worth it!

Customer service is always great.  My boots came apart at the seams after wearing them for two days.  I returned the boots and was given a new pair (after the repairs to the seams where not acceptable).

I love my boots and get many positive comments when I wear them.

Was introduced to Fluevog's by an ex.  Always admired the style of her 'vogs and happened to join her on one of her forays to the Seattle shop.  Interesting, so he designs men's shoes as well...  And damn! Those are some pretty slick shoes.

Made return trips to the Seattle store both with her and on my own a few times.  After a few years I finally broke down and bought my first pair of Fluevog's.

    Fast forward two years.
Location - The Fluevogs on Queen West in Toronto, Ontario:
Today I bought my eigth pair of Fluevogs, a pair of Earl of Warwicks Coventry boots in Brown.  Hot Damn!  The most immediately comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned.   The entire boot, including the sole, is this incredible Milk Chocolatey/Earthy Brown. Can't wait to spend time in these boots.

My only complaints, but not enough to knock it down a star, is that Mr. Fluevog doesn't come out with new men's designs nearly often enough and that he doesn't have locations outside North America.

I really like Fluevog boots.  I've owned a few pairs over the last 2 decades and find myself coming back as they wear out over a number of YEARS.  The shop on Queen has been pretty consistent all along and I like popping in from time to time.

The BEST time to go is in January or mid summer when they have their big clearance sale.  You can easily save a hundred + dollars on a pair of shoes that will last a long LONG time.

As per the other reviews, I find the staff friendly and helpful with no sense of pressure to buy.  Stock is usually good and they tend to offer a 10% discount if you work in the neighbourhood and qualify.

I have been wearing Fluevogs for over a decade now and I never tire of them.  Sure I have some older, clunkier styles that I no longer wear but I hold onto them for my own historic reasons as I tend to keep things I have loved.

The shop on Queen West is great, the staff is awesome and all the Fluevogs you see online are available there. One pair of boots I bought there needed stretching and they had all the tools in the shop to make my new boots fit perfect. There isn't much more to say, it seems like you either love Fluevogs or you don't and if you love them is is awesome having this shop in your city.

The website alone is a hook. The exceptional detail and craftsmanship makes for a lasting pair of kicks.

Shoe lovers beware. Dare you, no double dare you to not walk out with something fabulous.. If I'm gonna have a monkey on my back, at least it's going to make me look fab. I have a little problem with shoes.

If I could pull off period dresses and heels without looking like an insecure, hunched-over fool, this would be my ideal shoe shop. No matter how hard I try, I can't help but break into laughter when I don these feminine pieces at Fluevog. Laugh all you want. I sure do.

The good thing about not having the attitude and narrow foot size to pull off wearing a pair of Fluevogs is they're a machete to the bank account. More good news? Looking at them is always free, so I just suck it in and treat Fluevog's like it's an art gallery.

The men's shoes are classic and slick, and the women's heels are best to slobber on -- girly but chunky numbers designed with the early 20th century in mind, for a hip and happenin' 21st century gal. Just take me out of the equation.

With new styles and colors every season, JF is a busy man. There are stores throughout North America these days.  He has created a line of mens shoes targeted at those who can't spend $300 on a pair of loafers or interview shoes. The down side? Those are made in China. Cheaper costs = cheaper quality. So, JF knows quality shoes, too. Heels and soles are often made of unusual materials to and come in all shapes and sizes. As for the top of the shoe, leather is what you'll get. But, the colors and shapes are sometimes wacky, whimsical and weird. Go in often to see if something sparks your fancy. You'll be the only one with those standout purple lace-up boots, for sure!

a deepening addiction. well made, original, long lasting. have had some of my fluevogs for more than 5 years and they are still comfortable and amazing looking. more than worth the price, particularly if one shops there during their very good sales. nice salespeople, too.
