I had made a huge list of photographers & John was one of the few I had decided to speak with. I am a big fan of documenting/quality photos and knew from the beginning where a good portion of the budget would be spent on. I love his approach and photojournalistic style as it captures the essence of the moment. His photos are slightly touched up while retaining its natural demeanor and not photoshopped to the extreme. What I also love is his consistency & attention to detail... this is huge for me. It's possible to take a beautiful photo here & there but can you do it with every shot? what about everything in between?
When we met with John he was extremely professional, genuine & personable. I knew right away he would be our photog & that if we hired him he would need very little direction & we'd be stress-free (ok maybe just me lol)! John was probably very taken back when he asked if there are any questions and I asked when can we sign the contract? :) He was also very efficient with communication (email). Another plus! We have booked John Edgar for our wedding, paid him a deposit and then he went missing. Did not respond to any emails and disconnected his phone. We do not know if he will show up or not, and reading responses from other couples he did the same to them or they still have not received their pics. Some are from 2010.

I got married last year and took John along for the ride with my husband and I. Our first impression was that John was professional, creative, fun and truly ONE OF A KIND. His photos are not only warm, and filled with love, they are also artistic and edgy, a range only Mr. Edgar can provide.
