I always get the Blackened Snapper. It's delicious.
Of course, sometimes I get the fish and chips. Did you know you can substitute the fries with sweet potato fries? They have the best fish and chips.
The wait staff is really polite. The Manager is really nice, too.

We normally go to the location on Crowchild Trail across from McMahon Stadium (and the one in Salmon Arm when we're in town), but last week we decided to try the Crowfoot location again after years away. Service was pleasant, the all-you-can-eat fish Tuesday special was fresh, lightly battered as usual, with crisp fries and a small side of coleslaw. We even got to use their free WiFi (ask nicely, they might give you the password).

I guess everybody thinks they know what Joey's is about but I like this Crowfoot location. The fish and chips were great and my waitress, a young Venezuelan/Canadian girl, was an absolute doll. Really friendly and helpful. It's a quick and reasonable place for lunch, only $8.00. The decor is downright homey and parking is free and right outside the door.

I work right near Joey's, so I can smell the fish most of the time and every now and then it draws me in. This place is always buzzing in the evening, sometimes parking can be slim pickings, like on all you can eat Tuesdays. Having not been here in over a year I decided to grab some food to go. I was greeted right away by the man at the til. I ordered the Haddock and chips for my Husband and I, 2 pieces for $13, so it cost me close to $30. They have a great deal with their Joey's fish, 2 sides, shrimp or clams for $13. It cost another $3 to $5 for an additional piece of fish. They have a very extensive menu, including wraps, salads, rotisserie chicken, so there is something for everyone! I waited about 15 minutes. When I got home my food was piping hot, the fish was a good size and crispy, not doughy. Though the fries weren't very crispy, but you got a decent portion. We also got a little coleslaw, which was quite good.
Joey's fish is excellent, the prices are decent, the staff seems nice. Overall it is a good place to get your fish and chip cravings met!Comment from Dave H. of Joey's Seafood Restaurants 4/29/2010

Meet the Business Owner: Joe K.
Joe, with his wife, Theresa, opened the very first Joey's Only Seafood Restaurant in 1985; their first foray into the seafood restaurant business. Always the visionary, Joe is a charismatic leader who consistently develops new strategies to grow and expand the Joey's franchise business.
Today, with more than 25 years of experience, and 77 Joey's locations in Canada, Joe remains very "hands-on" in developing the Joey's menu and overseeing the company's operations and marketing. Joe also believes strongly in giving back to the community in which he achieved success. His philanthropic endeavors go far beyond Joey's.
