Review from Matt B.
I am a fan of all Joey's locations because the food, drinks, and service are always good. That being said, I would still recommend this place but this location doesn't seem to have the same atmosphere or decor that the other Joey's have. Its more like they just wanted to get as many people as possible in the building. The main area is pretty much just a big open area filled with tables and when you push your chair back to stand up, it will likely be hitting a chair at the table behind you. Get the picture? Anyways, make sure to check out their drink menu when you go.

Still got a hankering after a movie? I sure did, so we went to Joey's for dessert. It was nicer inside than I expected, and the service was prompt. They have an open concept lounge/ dining area, so it was harder to get away from the tvs. The dessert (lava chocolate cake) was good, if a little pricey for the small cake. Fortunately, I only wanted a small dessert, and by the time we were done, the richness of it convinced me it was big enough!
Friendly service, and a kitchen you can see into, which is kinda fun. -

Well we headed out tonight for some yum, and Stella was on special, on tap. Yeah :)P Its a busy place, service was good , and the food yummie.
I had the Panang Prawn Bowl, with noodles, I was told I could pick whatever noodle I wanted or rice, and I picked the fettuccine noodle, it was smaller than the usual fettuccine noodle I usually get in a pasta dish, Hubby got the California Chicken Club and he liked it , nice and lite and both our dishes didn't bloat us up which means more of the Stella Artois on tap that we love. Unfortunately dessert was only three choices on their menu, and it didn't really tantalize our taste buds much. If they had a better choice menu in desserts, and more to choose from then the three they offered that, were pretty basic-- desserts I would have given a 5*. -

We went here for dinner while visiting in Edmonton. The restaurant is very spacious but also very loud. We were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable time frame. Our drinks were refilled and the server was pleasant enough. When it came time to go I had to go get the server and ask for the bill so I guess they only care about you as long as you are eating. The food was flavorful and not bad for the price. They had some interesting local beers on tap which was a hit with the beer lovers in my group. Overall I'd say a good choice for a quick meal before a movie or a night out with your friends.
