Came here for lunch recently and had their Chicken Souvlaki. It was wrapped in a Pita bread and dam it was big. I don't usually eat a lot for lunch. but man I finished that thing in one sitting. I liked how our server told us what was in it, making sure there wasn't anything that we didn't like in it. My friend and I told her we didn't want olives which she understand why. Neither of us like the taste of olives anyways. I had mine with Cesar Salad. Trying to go healthy.
I like their service where they checked up on us as often as they can even though the place was totally packed.
The location may get confusing to get to as their are two sets of doors. One that gets to the restaurant and the other that gets you to the bentall center

Both times I've been here it was for company functions.  Once outside in the enclosed patio and the second time with a smaller group of 10, seated in the dinning area past the kitchen.  I can't complain, although the steak I ordered was a little too rare when I had wanted medium-rare.  I could've had easily sent it back to re-grill, but it was so busy for lunch, there wasn't a point to wait any longer.

All in all, it's a good place to host the downtown working crowd...

I'd go back in a heart beat for one dish and one dish alone: The Tuna Sashimi Salad dressed with Avocado and drizzled with a Mango lime dressing...A beautiful marriage between vibrant colors, texture, and flavor. Take a look see at this piece of eye-candy: http://www.yelp.com/bi...

And to tell you the truth, it was a relief to stumble upon this place (even if it is part of a chain), to be seated immediately, esp. after a long day of conferencing around in DT Vancouver. The ambience was a bit frenetic for me though (hard not to be when there's a room full of Canucks fans all glued to the plasma screen TVs), but service was attentive and I found it to be a truly satisfying way to end the day.

Yummy! Great presentation and attentive service.  Ate here with a friend and decided to split some apps since there were so many delicious ones to choose from.
Delicious Shrimp Flatbread & Rainbow Roll.  Ahi Tacos were just so-so.  Leave room for dessert!  Amazing Italian donuts.  Trendy/hip atmosphere.  Reasonably price.  A must try!

The food is great and the service is really good! Our waitress was attentive enough to realize I'm looking for vegetarian options ( without me mentioning ) and she tried her very best to check with the chef to find alternatives.I didn't give 5 cuz the place was a bit dead and also the restrooms were in the end of the world!

Why is this location so busy?  The service was HORRIBLE!  A group of us went for lunch and spent pretty much the lunch hour finding a waitress.  It was so loud, we couldn't talk to each other as our booth was so big.
The Tuna Sashimi Salad was quite good, but the grilled salmon was dry and tasteless.  I've had better yam fries.  The lobster grilled cheese sandwich was very good.  The NY steak was blah.  We've had a better steak at Milestones.
P.S.  I did not eat ALL of the food mentioned.  I sampled most of it.

I went here last Sat. night for some food and drinks before we headed out to another lounge. There were 5 of us and they seated us quickly in the barstool tabletops.
The waitress was great! the appy's were great! The drinks were alright... but I'm a bit particular on my drinks.
Anyhow, it wasn't too busy, the music not too loud it was nice. The only complaint was it was very difficult to find the washroom, it was down a dark hallway, up narrow stairs. The washroom itself was messy! small and not impressive. I would have given it a 3.5/5. but I probably won't come here again... as there are soo many other trendy, funky places that are much better for groups looking for a good time

I returned here again with a large group, and they did everything they possibly could to make our dinner enjoyable.

They were able to serve each of us a single tuna taco for a starter, but it fell apart immediately as you tried to pick it up and eat it. So I'm not sure what the "appeal to the meal" was here, but the flavour was otherwise quite tasty. And guess what? Every one of these babies was "complimentary" which I really can't argue with. That pushes them up half a star, too.

Calamari and other appies abided by their high casual-fare standards; I opted for the chicken wrap as there just didn't seem to be much that appealed to me otherwise. My salad was quite good, however.

Dessert rounded out the meal with donuts and pumpkin sauce. i thought that the cold pumpkin was a strange accompaniment, given the time of year, however. Surely they could have used something a bit more traditional which would have been a bigger hit. Is pumpkin really the hot flavour in late January?

The service was great, but like any other chain, i did not appreciate the surcharge. I topped it up to 20% just because they were so accommodating at what who-knew-was the-hottest-place on a Friday night?

Still, it was my first choice to go here for group dining, everyone seemed to enjoy it, and given a chance, I would book in a flash, yet again.

Excellent option for the downtown crowd for an amazing quality lunch, fast service, and fabulous scenery!
I would never stereotype this place into a "suit" lunch spot, but although there are many suits there every lunch hour (including myself) - it has many other amazing times to go and enjoy good food and drinks with friends.  Whether it is an afternoon cocktail, and afterwork beer, or some night time cervecas (ok fine my industry likes to drink alot) - this place is the bomb any time of the day!
I am sure i have had everything on the menu times.. but hands down the best - Ahi Tuna Club w/ fries - and a steigel beer!

Maybe I'm jaded but Joey's is Joey's is a Joey's. Friday night was packed to the gills, went with a group of seven - had calamari and dynamite role for apps - okay. Then salmon for entree. I quite liked it but a couple others complained it was verging on being overcooked. I'm not a fan of the mashed potato spring roll but I know others rant about them, each to their own. Wanted a Kir Royal but they stock neither creme de cassis nor chambord which I found a little odd - maybe I'm old in cocktail selections and they are too cutting edge??

A trendy restaurant with hot servers and a good crowd - business professionals during weekdays - along Burrard, near the skytrain station. Joey's is a solid go-to choice for groups and for Game nights.

3.5 out of 5. Ten of us dined, drank and watch the Game together for a friend's birthday. Edamame beans were tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed the Supernovas, my favourite Signature drink at any restaurant in Vancouver. Try the Supernova "Apple." It gets my vote for the best!

Hey Yo' Joeys. You have some attractive servers workin' your patio, but you know what?

If the service ain't happening, nothing else is either. There is no way I need to be waiting ten minutes for a glass of wine, while the servers are inside chatting at the bar instead of tending to their customers.

None of my friends were happy either. It just took way too long to get what we wanted.

The food is good, but overpriced. I see why people go here, but it won't be my first choice. Also, 5 people greeting me at the door? That's too much. WAY too much.

2.5 stars, not even 3. Get your service in order.

I am a regular to this location, almost on a weekly basis, because I work DT and this place also happens to be right in the middle of work locations for my buddies & I.  We go for Friday after work drinks.

The food is generally good and the waitresses are generally quite friendly.  Price wise, they are a bit on the pricier side.  Whether you think it is worth it or not is debatable, but I will say that the grilled cheese lobster sandwich and tandoori flat-bread is quite good.  They also have a good selection of cocktails and drinks.

Decor is modern & trendy.  Music can be a bit loud at times, but what do you expect?  This business is catering to a large cross-section of patrons.  There are also big screen TVs for the sports fans.
Crowd is a good mix of all ages, income levels, (if you want to make that comparison.), and a little heavier on the male mix.  That's what happens when the standard uniform on the 20 something girls is the "little black dress",  albeit tight.  BTW, the waitress crew is constantly turning over depending on the school session - I think you get the idea. Hey, if that's the business model, they're doing pretty good.

Not really a place for "fine dining", nor is it a quiet place for an intimate dinner.  Basically it is aimed at the mid 20's crowd with some spillage of the older working professionals.

Good place to hang, if that is what you want.

Eh. I wish I had something better to about this place. I really wanted to like my salad, I really wanted to like my server but the only thing I felt really passionately about was my water.

I ordered a salad, everything there came with meat so I had to ask for none, without a lower price. Now normally I don't care to pay a bit more for vegetarian food but $16 for salad is not okay. It was okay, I mean it had fresh lettuce and fresh veg but it was not $16 good. For $16 my salad should walk itself into my mouth after giving me a massage. Seriously.

The service was... okay... it wasn't super quick, they weren't super attentive and our server was just not super pleasant.

All in all, I don't think I'll willingly go back.

Joey's has changed their beer lineup and, for a connoisseur like me, I am thoroughly disappointed.

I fail to see how foregoing a tried and true Belgian Witbier (Hoegaarden) and replacing it with with an extraordinarily poor French alternative of Kronenbourg Blanc is desireable by patrons or even considered to be a good business decision.

Next, they dropped Leffe and kept Stella Artois.

    Seriously?

Stella is the one they keep!?

Having been to Belgium to earn a trivial rank in beer snobbery, I can accurately indicate that Stella Artois is the Canadian/Kokanee/Budweiser of Belgium. The country produces 600 different beers to cater to diverse tastes and Joey's decides that the overly marketed is only worthwhile beer to keep rather than the grand tasting beers they were sampling with Hoegaarden and Leffe. In their infinite wisdom, Joey's has decided the French make better beer.  For all that is better than the typical mediocrity in this world, leave the French to wine, not beer.  This is a living nightmare of a truly horrific abomination.

They also brought in Phillips Wheatking Hefeweizen. Sadly, a Hefeweizen is a very poor substitute for a Witbier.

On the plus side, having become a recognizable face at Joey's did garner me one cool favour. The bar staff had salvaged a half dozen Hoegaarden glasses as a gift for me.

Leffe was replaced with Sapporo, even though they serve Sapporo in tall cans. Unfortunately, Sapporo isn't all that great. Asahi, on the other hand, is a great Japanese beer that the geniuses in Joey's Purchasing department have overlooked.

My third beer of choice at Joey's has also hit the chopping block; there's no more Urban Honey Lager. The best I can get is Sleeman's Honey Brown in a bottle. This is a good beer, but I don't want bottled beer when I go out, I want draught.

My go to place for food and drink has had an arm and a leg chopped off. Food and drink is nothing when it falls to just food.

My apologies to the staff at Joey's, especially the bartenders. We had a great thing going and your bosses proper f'ed it. Your service remains great, and I'm sure the food still tastes good, despite the poor beer offerings/pairings.

Call me if Hoegaarden ever returns, and I'll be there, back at my seat at the bar, with my usual frequency.

Had a great event with the team here. Food was solid (particularly liked the tandoori pizza, but I'll skip the sliders next time), wines were good and the service was exceptional. I'll definitely come back.  Liked the private room space too - kind of up on a platform above the room. It worked well.

I love Joey's. Their restaurant's have a cool, hip, modern and elegant atmosphere (as you can tell, I'm not that cool or hip, as I use the terms "cool" and "hip", which isn't really cool or hip and very much outdated). I should say Joey's is "the bomb", but then that is also verging onto lame-ness territory.  Perhaps I should say that Joey's "owns" the rest of the higher end chain restaurants, but then that would be too adolescent of me as I'm a mid 20's adult (and I use the term adult very lightly).

I guess I should just say that Joey's is a great place to hang out with friends, grab a good lunch or dinner and a few drinks.  This location in particular has ample seating, and many televisions to catch the game (hockey), which we did last Tuesday and unfortunately we lost. But  losing the game definitely did not deter from the awesomeness that Joey's is.

For this visit we sat in the patio which was heated and Joey was kind enough to bring T.V.'s to the patio so we didn't have to miss out on some Nuck action, which we really wouldn't have missed out on anyway since they played horrendously last game. There is always a thin line though, so maybe we were mean't to bring this series home and win on our own turf. GO CANUCKS GO! My only wish, is that I was at Joey's right now too catch all the action and get some good eats and drinks with great friends, but I'm poor, so bleh!

Round 2: They called up my wife's boss and somehow, maybe by fluke or maybe by the fact that there was an elite yelper at the last dinner, we got another dinner...

Really good food. The fish tacos are one favorite. Sample a few dishes with a group and you won't be disappointed by flavor. There isn't much more to the place that I can add. It's higher end and something I'm not the most comfortable with, but they treated us very well and if there was ever another function there that I was invited to, I would definitely rsvp yes.

this is probably my favorite heated patio (the wine-bar side) for a winter-time lunch. you have to go really early (at like 11:30) or late (after 1 pm) to avoid the downtown lunch-rush.

as for the food, i think joeys is my favorite out of all the chains. it is a tad bit overpriced, but everything from the salmon to the lobster grilled cheese is incredible. the butter-chicken can be made with fake chicken for all the vegetarians out there and so can the lettuce wraps. love the salads, the soups are pretty good, and the garlic bread that come with a salad/soup combo is to die for. i don't know why, but i absolutely love their simple green salad (the spinach one with feta cheese and crasins) - it's actually one of my favorite things on the menu. their ahi tuna is pretty good too. all in all, i really love their menu.

the service isn't too bad either, but it really depends on who you get. usually though, it's not too bad or slow, and all the servers are usually pretty nice.

I have to say that out of the chain restaurants, Joeys is my favorite. Had not been to this location before and decided to check it out with a couple of girlfriends on a Friday night. Of a hockey game. We figured this likely was not the best decision but upon arriving, we were told that the wine room had plenty of space and we were able to grab a seat right away. The main dining area was definitely full but looked like a happenin place. The wine room is on the other side of Bentall and to get there, you have to walk through the kitchen, which I thought was odd. But there are plenty of seating options and a ginormous tv screen and so you're set no matter where you sit.

We all opted for the same wine and figured we would get a bottle to make it easier. Though after looking at the price per glass vs the price per bottle, we found that it was cheaper to order individually. Odd. But there is a wide selection of whites and reds and the chalkboard above the bar provides a list of selections recommended by the staff and so you're set.

For food, I had the tuna club, sans bacon. My tuna was perfectly cooked and the tempura onion rings and relish made it delicious! The tuna salad and chicken lettuce wraps were ordered by my friends and everything was delicious. The lettuce wraps came with half a head of lettuce and so it's definitely enough to be a full meal, despite being listed under appetizers.

Overall service was super attentive and we were never without beverages. Debit is only done at the bar, which is tricky to get to if it's busy at the centre table. And the woman's washroom is upstairs, which is even more tricky if you're a girl in high heels. Watch yourselves. There is also a covered patio for those who need a little sun.

I came here with three colleagues for a "liquid lunch" and this was definitely a great place for a wine-fuelled "business meeting" downtown. We had a reservation and so were immediately seated, but I had tried to come here on another occasion during a weekday lunch rush and had to go elsewhere because the wait was too long (the lesson being, make reservations).

In terms of the food and drink, we started with yam fries (very tasty and served piping hot) and an excellent red wine. For the main, I had the ahi tuna salad. The chili-lime dressing was very light and citrus-y, and it came with a generous portion of perfectly-seared tuna. I also liked the fact that the presentation was very different than a simple bowl of greens that you usually get when you order a salad because it was served "tower style" with the tuna and avocado sitting outside. Also the greens were well complimented by amorosa tomatoes, mango, fresh mint and peanuts.

Our service was business-like and efficient but we weren't rushed. My only criticism is the coffee that I was served after lunch was pretty terrible.

The biggest point I want to make about Joey is that in addition to a varied menu, they also have a gluten free menu with many great options (for example, my salad, which simply eliminated the crispy noodles that usually come with). I always appreciate the consideration on that front without having to ask a million questions or beg for a million substitutions.

I should begin with a caveat: I am anti douche. So for those that aren't or don't mind getting unabashedly ogled by clearly married, many decades older men, you will be fine here.

The service is pretty good but there is next to nothing (other than the standard yam fries, edamame and green salads) for vegetarians, which is unfortunate given how much the Joey's on Broadway makes an effort. It is a fine place for cocktails and I love their Super Nova Vodka Soda, which is in fact generally the only thing I order.

There are people that love places like this, the sexual tension, the creeping, the vastly skewed ratio of married older men to women (think 6:1). I'm just not one of them!

Preface: I'm not usually a fan of chain restaurants.
However, Joey Bentall One is fab.

Sit in the wine room for maximum ambiance. Great bet if you want to go somewhere for wine-fueled conversation on a Saturday night without interruption, and without feeling rushed.
Good energy on friday/saturday night, especially for late night eatting. (Kitchen open until 11.)
This side of town is a neat change of pace from the yaletown scene.

Order the meat/cheese platter to share. (A selection of cured meat and cheese, with olives, chutney, grapes, candied pecans, and bread.) Served on a wood board with a big knife.
There's something sexy about eating with your hands and a big knife. Do it.

The ladies bathroom upstairs is handsome. I do favor high-ceiling hallway-style bathrooms, and Joey delivers.

Half-assed inattentive, forgetful service during our Monday happy hour visit.  The beer special was sold out (because of the Grey Cup yesterday) as were several other beers.

My appetizer never came...waitress obviously forgot to order it.  When I asked where it was, she walked to the other end of the room, turned around, came back and made up  a ridiculous excuse about "the computer shut down."   At least the appy tasted OK.

meh, I've experience better at other Joey locations.....

I went here for dinner yesterday night, it was pretty dead (Monday). I've been wanting to try their lobster grilled cheese for the longest time (come on, how good does that sound?) and yesterday was the night. I was hoping to only have brie instead of the Cheddar & brie as stated on the menu but the server said it was a premix (here's when I started to question the quality of the sandwich). With every bite I wanted to love this sandwich but with every bite I couldn't even decide if I liked it. Brie does wonders to just about anything and grilled cheeses are always comforting but the lobster had a fishy taste and overall I was disappointed. Further to that, the server did not mention the extra charge of substituting the fries for salad boooo!

But alas, there is always the molten lava cake at Joey's which makes up for everything....mmmmmmm

Anyway, as chains come by, the Joey menu has a diverse variety of food options with a good range of prices. I like the ambiance of the other locations, especially the patio on W. Broadway more than this one which seems to be catered to the office folk that work in the area.

Gotta say, there's something about the 60s ambience due to being housed in a Mies Van der Rohe style building that is both odd and cool.  I am a huge fan of the Wine Room, as they have a "wine saver" system that obviously they've spent $$$$ on.  I love being able to get wine by the glass.

I'm also a HUGE fan of the tandoori chicken flatbread - that could be my supper any night and I'd be a happy girl.

And ladies, check out the bathrooms upstairs when you are there.  Is it wrong that I want that wallpaper on MY wall?

I went here for a busniess lunch and was suprised. I didn't want to go here because it seemed to be prentenious with over priced menu items.
I was happy to find that the entrees were pretty reasonable (if your a vegetarian) and the drinks were delish too (but on the more expensive side).
What I really liked was that they offered to put fake chicken in my salad because the original one came with meat. The service was nice and helpful but I can understand why many consider the staff snobby. Since I didn't pay for the bill, I liked this place. Their salads are huge and super hard to finish, so if your hungry I say go for one of those.

I had no idea what to expect...during another olympic-time trip,  we were looking for a lounge spot where we could get some good grub and watch some olympic stuff.  This place wins in all categories:

    1. while the wait was long, everyone was pleasant and we ate at the very cozy bar
    2. tons of tv's
    3. great music - almost like a house-music club
    4. very friendly staff - even behind the bar, they were extremely attentive
    5. food was amazing, we shared lobster ravioli and a maple crusted salmon

only regret, we should have gone to the back bar around the corner which is dark and sexier than then first bar we were sitting at - they have a patio, which I'll definitely hit up in the summer.

    fantastic experience...

I went to Joey for a conference dinner and thought the food was pretty mediocre and particularly overpriced.  I had their fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and the entire dish was basically swimming in oil.  The server also botched up our bill multiple times.  Overall, not a good experience.

My friend recommended this restaurant for a sole reason: The Wine Room.  We were looking for a place where we could go on a Saturday night, get a couple of different, good quality glasses of wine, and talk without being interrupted; Joey's proved to be a great locale.

Upon arriving, we were swiftly ushered in and given a quiet table in a corner.  The music was loud enough to be heard, but did not impede the conversation.  The decor was modern and interesting, allowing for tables to feel private and cosy.  The wine list was extensive; we particularly liked the idea of a flight (which consists of 3 2oz-tasters) and both had no trouble finding something that suited our palates.

However, what impressed me the most was our waitress.  She arrived promptly, answered all our questions with expertise, and brought our drinks in a timely fashion.  She dropped by our table to see if we needed anything else at perfectly placed intervals, yet left us in peace to talk for three hours.  I find that it is rare to find a restaurant that will allow you to order a glass of wine and remain there for that long on a Saturday night.  Not being pressured to move on allowed my friend and I to catch up in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

I went here once with a girlfriend and it was great!  I ordered the Club Med and she ordered the Baja Fish Tacos.  Both of them were delicious and the portions were quite large.  For dessert, we shared a Molten Lava Chocolate Souffle and it was seriously one of the best dessert's I've eaten!
The decor was really nice and contemporary with large windows.  We came here during an afternoon in the summer so it was sunny and comfortable but not to the point where the sun was in my eyes.  The washrooms were very clean and the decor was really really nice!
Our waitress was really friendly and outgoing. All in all, great restaurant!

As I settle into the Vancouver business community I am seeking out good lunch spots for clients. For a Toronto born-raised and fed person, used to Canoe, Bymark and the other Toronto spots, it has been difficult to find places that match up to the quality and expediency of Toronto's business dining crowd. Joey's was one of the first spots I've tried --

-- and my search will continue. It's not that Joey's was bad -- the food was enjoyable (i had fish tacos, clients had tasty-looking salads), it's just that it didn't inspire me. It was a fresher, tastier version of Kelsey's, complete with overly perky waitresses who just LOVE to serve you pop refills and an atmosphere that says, "aren't we having FUN now business workers!"

Also, make sure you sit in the wine bar area as the bar side is far too noisy for business lunch. Couches are very deep. Prices are reasonable and service is fast.

Confession #1: i hate hate hate chain restaurants. with a passion.

but i figure i'd review this joeys, simply b/c of the decor and that, if i HAD to go to a chain restaurant? joeys wouldn't be the worst.

i hate chains b/c of the lack of originality. however, out-of-towners can't seem to get enough of it when they step foot in vancouver! really guys? apparently cookie-cutter is the new fad.

the redeeming quality about joeys? love their apple pie. it's on the dessert menu (of course). delicious. almost worth the $8 or whatever it is.

also, you never have to worry about washrooms being un-hygienic or dirty. it's always a pleasure in there!

for what you pay for the food, will be reflected in the deor and renovations. the food will never, ever taste like the $20+ dish they charge u for. drinks as well.

I was invited for lunch with some work ladies, and they picked Joeys. I had never ever heard of this joint before, but decided to check it out anyways. I checked the online menu before heading out to make sure they had some veggie stuff, and they had a few options (not many) which upon arrival all turned out to be meaty. Good times.

I guess Joey's doesn't take reservations, even though on their website you can make them. We were on the "wait list" which kinda sucked since we only had an hour lunch break and half of it was spent waiting for a table. Our waitress was super friendly and was a delight to have, she knew her shit about the menu, which is how I found out that the soups were made with a chicken broth, which kind of left me with no options, other than the noodle lettuce wraps, which had an oyster sauce in them. Basically I could have salad, or possibly the fettuccine alfredo, (I didn't inquire about the meat ratio in that menu item) but that seemed a bit heavy for lunch. I ended up getting the soup and salad and just trying to turn a blind eye (or taste-bud) to the chicken broth. The mushroom soup was actually really good, but why the heck they can't make it with veggie broth I do not know. I mean, come on people, this is Vancouver, there are a million vegetarians here! Live in the now! Every restaurant should have at least one veggie option in this day and age that is NOT salad. How hard would it be to carry veggie patties for burgers, you already have burgers on the menu.

So my lunch was pretty okay, but I doubt I would be back, since there is basically nothing on the menu that I can eat. Sorry Joey, its just not gonna work out between us.

Had a great meal at Joeys (Bentall 1) this evening. Started with the mushroom soup which was tasty. Had the sirloin and grilled shrimp combo. Both were well prepared and delicious. The crispy mashed potatoes were a delight. At first I couldn't figure out what they were, as they look just like spring rolls. The mashed potatoes fill the rice paper and then are fried...delicious! Based on someone's earlier recommendation, I finished with the chocolate banana bread pudding. It was quite good, but I couldn't finish it since I was so stuffed.

The server was quite pleasant, although a couple of times I had difficulty getting her attention. I still tipped her well since she did treat me well.

    I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is great...if you don't care what you're drinking.  The girls and I wandered in for that infamous "one last drink".  This place screams upscale bar with the modern decor, beautiful long bar and huge flat screen TVs.

All excited, I decided to order a champagne cocktail.  The server said that she didn't think they had any champagne, but that she'd check.  When she came back she said, "Good news!  We have sparkling chardonnay in a can!"  WTF is that?  Oh, and it's $12 + the cost of "whatever else goes into the champagne cocktail".  She said that they used to carry Codorniu cava (which is actually good), but they stopped that nonsense to carry this awesome god knows what in a can.  Yeah...no.

So I decided to order an Appleton VX and diet.  The server said, "you know that's 151 right?".  Um, no it's not, I own a bottle, and it's delicious.  But she insisted, so I just ordered a regular Appleton and diet.  She brought Bacardi.  I give up.

Meanwhile, she comes by to offer us complimentary bellinis.  Wait a minute, last time I checked those were made of champagne.  So my friend asked if it was the champagne in a can.  She said no.  Now I'm really confused, and getting kind of irritated.  The bellinis came and, Vancouver, what's up with the frozen bellinis with grenadine?  Must be a Canadian thing.

Anyhow, if you're looking to get drunk, this place has pretty reasonable prices and lots of long island iced tea type of drinks that are apparently pretty good (my friend enjoyed her super nova).  Oh, and freebies don't hurt either, even if they are made from a can.

Great service, lively atmosphere, hip decor, but it is still Joey's. Taken for what it is, a great spot for a corporate lunch or a drink after work, this place does the job, but hardly worth going out of your way for.  I have to say that the service was great, and the food and cocktails are always consistent. I just struggle to get excited when Earl's, Cactus Club, Joey's, etc basically put different packaging on identical products.

If you work nearby, not a bad choice, but there are so many better options in this city.

I had no idea there was a back room and patio at this place - much bigger than I thought, accompanying much more than expected. On a nice evening - gathered with a bunch of friends for drinks ( and dinner).

I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad with dressing on the side - service was prompt and food came out quickly to my liking. To my surprise, there were two separate dressings - one like guacamole sauce, and then another creamy one. The Ahi Tuna slices were smaller than I thought, I thought they would be Sashimi length but clearly they were half of that. Avacadoes seemed a little scarce and uneven but okay. Mangoes were nice and too many onion, imo. The portion was also a little smaller than I had anticipated and I thought it would make me full, but didn't  - boo.
My super sonic gin and tonic (which came with citrus slush) wasn't anything special - exactly like any other gin and tonic.

The cheeseburger sliders that my boyfriend ordered were tasty, but definitely SMALL - one more slider would have definitely helped - maybe that is why they call it an APPY. The rum and coke with the cherry bottom was actually very tasty.

Our server was super sweet and very attentive... but overall, everything else was just okay...
