The place was empty when we were there, we were greeted and seated and within minutes baloon's were flying at us, caught me off guard at first but after a few minutes, and I got a taste for the atmosphere, I knew we were going to have a good time. We started with Drinks and Nacho's, the Nacho's were HUGE, it was like playing that game Jenga where you had to pull them out without knocking them over. After not being able to finish our Nacho's we decided not to order anything else, we were stuffed! The music was loud the entertainment was fun and the drinks were cold, what more could ya want. I just kept thinking how awesome this place would be mid summer, lots of people, patio open etc...

I dont eat red meat. They didnt have any options really other than beef.
I just decided to drink. My vodka water tasted like water. I asked if they could make another with a shot glass. They said no, they were trained to free pour. So only order beer or specialty drinks or you will get jipped. I spent 6 bucks on a glass of water. -

As a former parrot-head, I figured a stop into Margaritaville was a good bet for late night eats, drinks, and music. But it was... ummm... okay but I definitely expected more.
The staff was friendly. The welcome leis were fun. But the overall experience was less Jimmy Buffett and more Disneyland. With a girl going around making balloon animals and nearly no JB music to hear, the restaurant was full of families with children and a disappointment overall.
We had two appetizer dips which were just okay and three regular cocktails and the bill was $63. That also includes my kid's cup. I saw a cool flashing cup at the table nearby and asked the waitress if that was a kid's cup and she said yes and asked if I wanted one. I absolutely did! So she brought me a cup. I thought that was very cool and extra points for the waitress. Then when the bill came I saw I was charged $3.95 for the cup. I found that to be annoying since I wasn't informed there would be a charge for it. At least if there was a charge, I imagine it should have come with a beverage in it which I wasn't offered. Oh well. Extra points lost.Listed in: Wine Country and More

You'll never find someone calling Margarittaville a great restaurant. It's not meant to be,
It's a fun place to go.
And when you do go ... don't be afraid to order food... it's actually done very well.
I ordered the traditional "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and was pleasantly surprised by the large fresh burger, the toppings and the above average French fries. Of course if you order the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" you need to get it with lettuce, tomato, Heinz 57 and French fried potatoes... and a large kosher dill pickle. It's really the perfect bar food. Add to that a nice cold beer (oddly enough due to importing issues they did not carry Buffett's own Land Shark Lager which was a bit disappointing)
My wife had tacos with chicken, chorizo, and a nice roasted pepper salsa which had a nice fresh flavor.
The best part of a Margarittaville is the entertainment and people watching. This is a hangout for Jimmy Buffett's parrotheads. The Buffett music and videos stream constantly and the staff tries to make it a fun atmosphere. My 3 boys were getting bored with their food and so the hostess started a game of beach ball volley ball with them at the front of the restaurant. They had a blast. They got trinkets and balloon swords to take with them and for about 1/2 hour... we had a built in baby sitter.
You won't find me complaining about this. -

Expensive. Crap nachos. Inauthentic margaritas. Skip it.

This is probably the best food for the price that we had in Niagara Falls and that is not saying much. I had a frozen margarita which was not too bad. I had the nachos as my entree and it was GIGANTIC but nothing to write home about. My boyfriend had some sort of portabella mushroom sandwich that didn't look too bad. There was a clown on stilts making strange things out of balloons. I found it to be annoying. There was a huge projection screen playing music videos which was kind of strange. Will I go back? Probably not.

Terrible, overpiced and mediocre. Think of a bad chucky cheese for stupid adults. $20 for a salad and ice tea, criminal. Avoid this place and let it die a deserved death.

Everyone here seemed shockingly enthusiastic for working at a Margaritaville in a small tourist town--except for, ironically, the blase girl on stilts in a pirate shirt, offering to make balloon "hats or swords" to as many patrons as she sauntered by. on stilts.
Ashley, our server, was very helpful and knowledgeable, and in good spirits given that "Margaritaville" came on the speakers for what was surely the 24892735th time she'd heard it. We made our way to the Maid of the Mist tour after she made an honest, uncolorful description of what to expect.
The nachos were enormous, and kept us full for four hours. The cheese to salsa ratio wasn't quite right--more salsa, please! The margaritas were strong and delicious. And seriously, everyone was so HAPPY. I suspect excellent management. -

My friend raved about Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, stating it was the best place to dine in Niagara Falls, however this was sadly untrue.
Despite the restaurant being dead on a Saturday night, services was horrible. Our server was rude, angry and downright eerie. Not to mention, service took forever. Our drinks came instantly, and were delicious, but we had to wait over thirty minutes for our bill. And, when we were ready to pay, the server ignored us, choosing to assist a group of four tourists.
I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I probably would have had a better time going to McDonalds. Also, they got rid of the free photobooth that was at the front of the restaurant. -

well after leaving the restaurant next door Coco's we walked over to Margaritaville as it was new and looked interesting..
There was a long line up to get inside and most of the tables were empty the girls were just slow seating people. when we were finally going to be seated, the girl just wanted to throw us at the first table, right where everyone will be walking back and forth constantly while most of the tables were empty! we were moved to another location and as soon as we were seated they started moving tables and putting a huge group right behind us!!
The tables are super tiny there, maybe good enough for two people, not four!! Where would your food go?
We decided to leave this place as it seemed to be too much of a tourist trap, and ended up at the Beef Baron which was delicious! -

OK, this place doesn't yet carry Landshark beer. How is that possible?
We instead settled for copious amounts of Miller Chill. I had a steak and cheese wrap which was fairly tasty.
The staff was very nice. Our waitress was always around and willing to grab us another beer or water whenever we seemed dry.
The place is all decked out tropically as one would expect. It's really just another run of the mill chain restaurant. -

Pricey, but good if you order the right things. Came here late on a Monday night in January because it was within walking distance from the Hilton. I don't remember the specific names of what my bf and I ordered, but both entrees were delicious and filling. I had a "Cuban" sandwich that was made Canadian by the addition of Montreal smoked meat and the bf had a "Candian" cheeseburger. We also tried Labatt Blue and Molson Candian beer for the first time. Service was fantastic! It wasn't busy, but the waitress was super attentive.

This was my first trip to this chain and I was disappointed. The food had nothing special about it, everything on the menu you could get from a TGI Fridays, so was the ambiance. So the reason it's Margaritaville because you get to hear Jimmy Buffet (the recording, not the person) sing all through the evening? Well, it worked, they blared the music so loud on the street that we were just tempted to try it out. Never again.

A good place to park yourself and consume beverages after a day of sightseeing. The rooftop bar has a great view of the fireworks if you don't want to trek down to the falls with the throngs of people there. Service was pretty darn good considering they were all sooo young. Food was good for a chain.
