Review from John Paul T.

Honestly as my boyfriend's grandma likes to say: this is one for the golden oldies. There are many many many cute little grey-haired ladies having lunch in this breakfast-diner spot out in the Kingston Centre. They did their banking and their Loblaws run and they stopped off for a bite to eat before going home to watch Murder, She Wrote or a re-run of Young and the Restless. We arrived for lunch a little after noon and this place was BUMPING. It was like senior's discount day at Shoppers Drug Mart. It was packed. Most of the people were there for the famous all-day breakfast which is really quite affordable.
All the typical options are available: eggs anyway, bacon, and a nice cup of coffee. I opted for the lunch menu, and a chance to indulge in some of their greasier options. I had the chicken fingers 'deluxe' which features about 4 strips of a meaty chicken fingers, and a healthy serving of french fries. (Around $10). I opted for gravy, which is typically put over the fries but I put it on the side. For the extra $0.99 its a nice little touch, but totally sharable if you're with someone else with a hankering for gravy. My boyfriend ALWAYS gets the Chicken Sandwich and he just raves about it. So they're good for things like that: your typical white-bread food that you're little old granny used to serve when you visited for tea on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Don't expect grandoise French cuisine or experimental fusion. Just go for the good stuff: anything battered, fried, and served with a side of frites errr french fries I guess you'd say here.
