Review from Devon B.
I'm not Jewish and I go to the JCC. Surprised? Don't be, there are a lot of people who do the same. It's a no brainer. The cost is pretty minimal, and the facilities are impressive.
There is a workout gym, a gymnasium, pool, you name it. So for a small fee, you too can join the JCC regardless of your faith.
The workout gym is not huge, but it has everything you might want. There is an aerobics room, a small free-weight area, a few bikes, and a few nautilus machine. The only issue is that it can get crowded at peak hours. Once you know the best times to go, you're laughing.
The pool is huge and unique. It uses salt water, so there is no chlorine. I don't know of anywhere else in the city that does this. They hold a lot of swimming classes for people of all ages also, so you will find a place to fit in.
The gym is a multi-use facility that handles basketball, volleyball, floor hockey etc. There are free times but it is also rented out and use for specific activities quite a bit.
It's a nice, low-key place to spend some time.
