Wow, I can't believe nobody has yelped this place yet. Definitely a hidden treasure for greek food and burgers. It's nestled in a mainly industrial area at matheson and kennedy in Mississauga. You'd think it was an office unit but it's not - it's Jessie's!

My former team introduced me to Jessie's and i've been a fan since. The staff are friendly, the food is good, and the portions are huge. Did I mention the portions are HUGE? When the head chef (I think his name is Peter) piles it on, he piles it on. Almost to the point where he's waiting for a reaction out of you! heh If you're lucky, sometimes he'll even throw in extra food, not that you'll need it because honestly his servings are enough to feed two people.

With that said, what should you order? hands down, easily the Pork Souvlaki plate. Comes with rice and greek salad. I suggest you monitor the amount of tsadziki (sp?) sauce he puts on because it can get a bit overboard. The Pita wrap is a great substitute if you can't eat an entire Souvlaki plate. My colleagues have ordered the Jesse burger and peameal bacon as well, which come recommended.

Other than that, the place is a bit small. Lunch time crowds will have you waiting (hoping) for an available seat. If not, just get take-out. Jessie's is only open during the lunch and afternoon I believe, so don't bother passing by for dinner.

One last thing, you WILL be in a food coma after eating here. Lights out, goodnight.
