A bit pricey for a sub, but totally worth it. You will not find a better sanwich in town.
I usually order the #9 Club Sub, "Mike's Way" (a zesty sprinkling of oil & vinegar with a dusting of Italian herbs)
Quality meats, good bread, sizable portions. -

This place is pretty good! I just started working in the neighborhood and have been looking for a decent sandwich shop to go to for lunch and was given this place as a suggestion.
I tried their chicken parm, which wasnt the best I have had, and doesnt seem to be there best either. My colleagues had a few of their cold sandwiches, which I have to say, looked impressive. I will have to visit them more often.
Prices are fair, the best deal would be their large sandwiches that you can probably share among two people. -

I have been to several Jersey Mike's now, and this one was the first, and is still the best in my mind. The staff REALLY make this place. The sandwiches are delicious and the sizes are great.
Do not walk in here and order a 'Foot-Long' or run the risk of being laughed out of the joint (at least you will be heckled a little bit). -

It's OK. Nothing more, nothing less.
The sandwiches are a nice change from the usual subway every so often but the prices are higher and they are definitely fattier.
Still try it out and see for yourself. Hey, realistically I'm sure I'll go back - just not anytime soon.
On the plus side they have Jersey's own TastyKakes, a East Coast fave for all you West Coast transplants. -

Yum! First time here, loved the bread and the sandwich. The parking is difficult during lunch time, but its a good place for a quick bite.

This is a staple of mine since I work close in the area. The attendants here are professional, funny, and take care of business. They always given plenty of meat, and it's never too crowded and it's a great atmosphere. In a Jersey Mike's, you need people who have made the sandwiches for a while in order for them to start tasting good. This place fits the bill and I love it!

My nephew claims this place has the best Philly Sub... I didn't acknowledge his claims nor did I agree or disagree... all I told him way, I'll have to visit and see if the claim is true or not.
I have never heard of Jersey Mike's until my nephew mentioned it and since he proclaimed they had the best Philly Cheese steak, I decided I needed to try it and compare the taste with the four places I visited in Philly.
I walked in, two guys were working, it wasn't busy but within few seconds three other folks came in... I ordered the Philly Sub, funny how one guy was already making it, but maybe he read my mind... I got the giant on a white bread... the giant will be equivalent to foot long... with tax, its $13, very expensive sub.
Overall the the meat was tender and the grilled peppers were nice touch... they used provolone cheese (in Philly they use Cheese Whiz), but they do offer provolone as an option... compared to the originals in Philly, it's not in the same footing, but for those that's not able to go to Philly to get it, swing on by Jersey Mike's... it's not the original, but it'll do... but go to Philly and try it and once you tried it, you'll never stop comparing... -

Maybe I didn't order the right sandwich . Maybe I expected too much , but
I thought this place was supposed to be out of this world and well , it's not. I ordered the turkey and provolone and when I came home to inhale it , it was super soggy and very bland. My son had the meatball and he seemed disappointed as well. Even though, there was no line, it still took a while to make and for 2 sandwiches = $ 25.07 , I think they should at least taste damn good. There wasn't any mold on my bread or rotten meat , but honestly, it just lacked flavor. For the price, it's not worth it. I would feel justified spending $ 25 on 2 sandwiches if I was having a foodgasm , but the only thing I'm having right now is remorse. -

Best sandwiches in town. Better than Togos or Subway.
Always greeted in a friendly manner by the workers+owners there.
Only 4 star, because of price. Footlongs are almost $11. -

Best tuna EVER.
And this is coming from a girl who only eats 1 type of tuna that I have to buy specially and I prepare myself. I have never liked any other type of tuna, but this was literally the best tuna sandwhich I have ever had, especially if you get it mikes way! Make sure you go try it out =]. -

Could it be? A Jersey Mike's near my house?!?! SCORE!
Went here for the first time today and its as delicious as any other J-Mike's. One thing I really liked at this location was the service. I immediately felt comfortable walking in here and felt like I knew everybody. Everyone was friendly, happy and the food was made quick.
Gonna be coming here a lot! -

I've considered I may need some counseling due to my Yelp addiction. I soon realized the affect this site has over me.
The other day, I was ravenously hungry, but didn't want to go to my usual lunch spots, just because I wanted to write a new review. I'm sure most of you have come across this issue, correct?? I thought so.
I Yelped on one place, then another...but nothing sounded pleasing. I drove into a familiar parking lot thinking I wanted sushi, but decided a sub might be a safer option.
Pros:
Deli meats and cheeses are freshly sliced, like a real butcher shop
Friendly, helpful, very young staff
Decent variety of subs
If you're hungry, their Giant size is about 16 inches
Cons:
Their "mini" is around 7 inches (i know.....why am I complaining about length...haha), but it's a bit too much food and I wanted the option of a smaller sub.
Very limited ingredients, less than Subway.
They're a little pricier than Subway, about a dollar more...But fresher ingredients.
I prefer Subway's bread, more choices and chewier
Jersey Mike's is a nice chain with fresh meat and cheese, but I prefer Subway due to more selective choices and cost. -

When I heard that we will have an eatery as our neighbors, I was intrigued. There are few choice places to dine in La Canada Flintridge, and a new option was good news.
After Jersey Mike's opened for business, and I ate there a few times, I was elated! The food is fresh, service and staff are great, and the consistency of both is terrific. One blogger complained that they have fewer choices than competitors, but so does In-and-Out Burger. I always prefer fresh quality food and great service over bigger choice and mediocre service.
Are they more expensive than other sub shops? Yes, but I grew up in the food service business and know first hand that you do in fact get what you pay for!
Enjoy Jersey Mike's and let Alex, the manager, know that I sent ya. I'm next door at Kobeissi Properties. Stop by and say hello! -

Wanted to grab a quick lunch after shopping across the street.. Had no idea La Canada had a new sub place next to Penguins.
Ordered the tuna on wheat bread.
The thing i liked about this place is that they cut the meat and cheese right in front of you, like deli style. Although their bread selection and veggie selections were limited, everything was so fresh!!!
Prices are a little more than subway but after eating their tuna sub, it was pretty good.
The workers were friendly and fast. :) -

I decided to grab dinner here yesterday to give this new place a shot. I ordered the cheese steak which they claim to be their signature sandwich. I paid over $7 for it which seemed pretty overpriced for a chain that seems similar to Subway or Quizno's. I didn't feel the sandwich tasted good enough to warrant that price either. I liked the cheese and how melty it was, but that was about it. The bread was nothing special, it tasted the same as Subway bread. The meat wasn't flavorful and neither were the peppers even though there were copious amounts of them.
I was really dissatisfied with this location because the service was awful and the sandwich did not make up for that one bit. I was left waiting at the counter for a long time before someone took my order. I didn't get acknowledgment in the mean time. I would have been fine with just a "Hi, could you hold on a minute." And when they did finally take my order I didn't even get a "sorry for the wait." The meathead working the register almost gave my sandwich to someone else, wandered off without saying much before giving me my receipt, which left me waiting even longer. For a place that appears to be a fast food sub joint, I and the other customers were waiting for far too long. The people making the sandwiches seemed to be really disorganized and overwhelmed by a few orders.
The sandwiches at Quizno's are far better. I will never come back here. -

Pretty good sub sandwiches, not much of a sub sandwich fan. I had to grab some lunch while out and about for meetings in La Canada area.
The place had plenty of help, 3 workers for every customer, so the customer service was excellent.
Will definitely be coming back if I am in the area around lunch time. -

Because I work down the road, I've been here 3 times now since it opened. Each time, the employees (and today the manager) were super friendly, super-accommodating. Like they're glad to have your business. (What a concept.) Sorry to disagree w/previous post, but all 3 times I have been, the attitude was positive.
Sandwiches are a definite step above the pack - Quiznos, Subway, etc. Bread is a lot more unique and the cold cuts are fresher. Better sandwich, period. ( I for one never got that Quiznos thing.) Pay $5 for a sandwich and you get a "5 dollar sandwich." Er.... right. I can't speak for the cheesesteak, since I think the subs are this place's stronger suit.
I can see it getting busy at lunch times (what did you expect?). I usually phone in my order, or show up before 11:15. Dinner, who knows. If it's decent, it'll be crowded? Customer service and attitude go a long way in my book. -

I am eating lunch from here right now, and it's pretty dang good. I got the buffalo chicken wrap, which is really tasty, but I think next time I might ask for it on a sub... the sauce is leaking out from the wrap at all angles. Def need another napkin... or 10.
I thought their service was very friendly, got my food quick, overall, really good experience. Will definitely go back. Parking at lunch time is a pain though. I lucked out and snagged the last spot in the lot. -

I love sandwiches. I heard about this place from a friend and wanted to try it out. Everything is fresh over there and they slice the meat right before your eyes. I had their Philly Cheese sandwich and it tasted great! Melt cheese and Peppers. They are a bit pricey though (a dollar more). I would say try this place out if you are sick of 5$ footlong from subway.

Unfortunately this location has downsized their sandwiches. I ordered a Regular Club Supreme for $7.75 plus tax. They started making my sandwich and it was no bigger than half a footlong at Subway. I told them I ordered a "Regular" not a "mini"and they said it was a regular. Then I was told some story that the initial opening of this store was wrong and they were using the wrong amount of bread before. I was also told that the bakery that delivers their bread was stretching out the bread before (blah, blah, blah). Management charged me for a "mini" and was very apologetic. The problem is that I am still hungry after eating a 9 dollar sandwich. Next time I will go elsewhere. Nice try Jersey Mike's but you downsized your portions on the wrong guy.

I just had a Philly cheesteak sandwich from this place. Although it was not "authentic Philly" at all, it was a satisfying sandwich. The bread was soft and tasty, sandwich was hot, beef was not quite steak - but tender and good quality. The grilled onions and the cheese were sparse to where I thought it was missing and I could not taste either - could have used more of both. Yes, a bit pricey, but I was satisfied overall and will return to try other items. I wish they had fries and I think to charge a buck for a pickle at a deli is not kosher.

Pretty good but not sure it's better than subway which is down the street and probably a bit cheaper.

The key to JM versus other sub shops is that they cut the meat fresh, no pre-cuts at JM. For a true Italian sub experience, try #2 or #5, Mike's Way with mayo. You won't be dissapointed.
