Review from Sarah O.
Excellent! I am happy to actually find a pool hall in the north shore. Yes! And it doesn't suck!! It is clean and modern and most importantly: roomy! I am thrilled that I can now give my entire shooting arm free rein to move, no more worrying about my cuestick hitting wall! It is also a restaurant and you can order delicious korean or japanese food- yup, you can eat sushi, drink beer and shoot pool at the same time! They serve a good selection of bottled domestic and imported beer, Sapporo on tap, soju and sake. Try to find other billiards that have that combination. And guess what!! They have a jukebox!
The staff is very friendly. When I left, the owners personally sent me off with a warm farewell and a "thank you." Open until 12am everyday. -

What a hidden gem!
Driving by this place, if you don't notice the "Billiards" sign, you might mistake it for a normal sushi restaurant, and if you do, you are missing out on the grooviest place in the city!
Half restaurant - Half pool hall.
The seating is arranged in a very clever way:
In the middle of the floor is a table seating area,
surrounding that, are Bar-bench style seating, with windows that overlook the pool tables.
This seating arrangement is great for tournaments, where spectators can watch the action and eat (and/or drink a few) , but not be in the way of the games.
At the counter, you can order beer, sushi (full menu), random munchies, and pop. The sushi is amazing, (and fairly well priced) and they will gladly bring it to the dinner table next to your pool game.
Table pricing is cheap, and all you need is to hand over your drivers' license to start a "tab"
Random soft music is on during the day, but some great pool music is always on at night. Friday nights are definitely the time to go.
The tables:
3 - 4.5' x 9' foot tables (felt condition is average, but the tables are a little high, and they feel like snooker tables)
4 - Bar Boxes
I just have to say, that the Bar Boxes are the "Predator" Diamond Pro-Am tables. Simply stunning, and the blue felt works great with the lighting.
9-Ball tournaments are now being held at this location, for players of different skill levels.
D, C, B, A, A+, A++, and Pro players are all welcome, thanks to the "handicapping system"
My only complaint, is that in the North West corner of the building, there are two Bar boxes that are side by side. A little too close together. For shots that are on the inside rail, you practically have to sit on the other table, but it is only a minor fault. (just choose the other two bar boxes...great spacing...problem solved)
This place feels really "chill" and laid back. I can't really explain it. I visited Vancouver last week, and this was the place that I played at most!
Simply Amazing!
