I stayed here for a few nights in May of 2010.
It's clean, safe and staff is pretty cool. It's on a busy street and if you drove, there's a parking garage a few blocks away. There's a backyard with chairs and tables to hang out as well as a common area with a couch, tv and a kitchen.
The staff recommended I leave my car in a parking garage because the neighborhood gets rowdy and having your window broken for no reason wouldn't be a surprise.
Me and 3 other friends stayed in a room with 8 or 10 beds and it got kind of annoying but that's what you'd expect in a big room.
My reason for 3 stars: Our biggest problem is that it's on a busy street and sound carries very well into our room. There's people walking back and forth, hanging out, drinking, being loud, cars driving by. Did not sleep well. I recommend not being in a room facing Ontario Street.
The Location is pretty cool. It's right by the Intersection of St Denis and Ontario. St Denis is a street filled with Bars, Restaurants, Strip Joint and the subway isn't that far.
