Review from Laura P.
I said it once and I'll say it again: Jay Set is a hotbed for undercover fashions. As I breezed through Scotia Square on a recent jaunt, a long line of basic tanks near the front caught my eye. I've been looking to purchase a plain, black tank for the summer months, but held off because I didn't want to spend a lot of extra moolah on something so basic.
Well. A long rack of tanks in a rainbow of options, these babies were priced at $10 each. Score... this is a doable price, and now I would be able to have that staple tank for summer wear.
As I perused the rest of the store out of curiosity, I found a few cute summer dresses that were definitely not the Jay Set cliché. While I was staying with my tank, there were definitely some younger, cute fashions available for low pricing.
On my trip to the checkout counter, I decided to take one last peek at the jewelry rack. There are some fun jewels here, and also some funky basics that every girl would love to dangle from her earlobe. I selected a brass pair of disk earrings, which were very bohemian kewl... and a perfect $2.99. I also picked out a black onyx-ish ring for $1.99. Score!
Jay Set is aimed at an older audience, but they demonstrate some good finds once and a while. Perhaps they remain nestled between the polyester blouses, but in the end, what does that matter. I found my basic tank for a good price, and a few summer jewels to keep me raring to go.1 Previous Review: Show all »
