Review from Rachael T.

Grumpy tuesday and walked into another coffee shop that didn't have SOY! So I decided to make a quick run to Java before work.
So all I have to say is: SOY LATTE. They use Silk Soy, which has a sweetness to it that doesn't require sugar.
So satisfying!Listed in: World away from Starbucks..

Review from Christine R.

Unless you're working in one of the nearby office towers or a student at VCC, you probably haven't come across Java Cat. It's a sweet, funky coffee shop with high ceilings, good music, and couple of windowside tables, perfect for a relaxing coffee break.
The eastern quadrant of downtown between Stadium Skytrain and the library, to me, has always felt a bit deserted. Java Cat is sort of an artsy respite from these sterile streets just outside of Gastown and Victory Square, and out of the main business district action (just a feeling I get; your mileage may vary). Java Cat brews a good latte, and they have yummy treats. For your meeting muffin needs, they also do office catering orders. -

Retro jazz, polite service, tiny and quaint with wonderful atmosphere. Try the "Catnip Coffee" - brewed coffee with a shot of espresso!
