I was a little skeptical when I saw Japan Shiatsu Clinic. Most of the massages that I get are in some frou frou spa where they play soothing music while I lay on a table in a private room. Japan Shiatsu Clinic has you lying on a table for all the world to see. Fortunately, you are fully clothed. No need for massage oil since it's all about pressure points. Don't expect to drift off to sleep. The sound of shoppers walking by and the pain that you'll experience from those tender spots being dug into are sure to keep you a wake. As I lay with my face in the donut, I am sure it was contorting as I grimaced in extreme discomfort.
Would I do it again? Heck yeah! It hurts like hell at the time, but you leave feeling great. A week and a half ago I started having some random lower back pain, but after getting kneaded at Japan Shiatsu Clinic, I feel 95% better. Japan Shiatsu Clinic gladly takes walk ins. Prices start at $20 for 10 minutes and increase by $5 for every 5 minutes. -

Shiatsu is normally done on a mat, and here they'll sit you down on a massage chair and give as many delicious minutes of shiatsu therapy as you'd like. It's a bit public, as the chairs are in full view of the people walking by, but then shiatsu is fully clothes, so it's not as if you're being exposed or anything. So, if you need a treat while you're doing some shopping, stop by for a quickie; you'll be glad you did! You can drop in here, too, and if they're not busy, they'll take you right away.
