On the upper ledge of my closet sits a mound of misfit clothing: a menswear blazer that I bought on ebay, a pair of dress shorts, a few lofty tops and pair of jeans that need hemming. I've been putting in a bit of time on the sewing machine, but by no means am I at the stage of giving precious items a proper tailoring job. That is where Janice came in.
I made the decision to take my collection over to Janice's after picking up a recommendation from a friend. Located on South Park Street, it wasn't too far of a jaunt, and I wanted to go somewhere I knew I'd be getting quality work.
Alterations, tailoring, dry cleaning, and custom made bridal gowns are all part of the offerings here. After a professional fitting and price confirmation, I was all set and ready to go. The service was kind, timely and the prices were right.
Just about a week for 3 items, I'll remember this spot for next time. My blazer fits perfectly, my shorts are less bunchy, and I have a new top to add to my summer rotation.
