My husband found James and his little shop while at a conference in Halifax and worked with him during the week he was there to design my engagement ring. I loved it so much that we took the 13 hour road trip back to Halifax the following summer to have our wedding bands designed. I also managed to leave with one of his bracelets that fits my tiny wrist better than anything I've ever worn. His work has the look and feel of the natural curves of the human body, fitting precisely, having a natural balance, and an a-symmetrical style.
James is wonderful to work with. His jewelry is one of a kind, each piece a work of art that is designed to fit your style, figure, and budget. He works only with the best materials, standing by his quality workmanship, while at the same time understanding your budget constraints. All while making the whole experience about YOU, the customer. His personality and gentle humor made me want to just hang around his shop all day and watch him work. -

James Bradshaw makes some of the best jewelry I have seen. I remember going in to see his work years ago.
Although it can be intimidating to enter this store, James is a very down to earth guy and will make you feel very relaxed when you enter.
He will take the time to understand exactly what you are looking for. I have always been a fan of his designs. You will never see two of anything in the store, except maybe earrings.
The quality is superb and the service exceptional. Go and enjoy, better yet treat yourself! -

James Bradshaw is a fancy-pants jewelry shop just off of Spring Garden Road. After having passed this boutique on many occasions and always wanting to go in, I finally took the plunge this afternoon.
There's a specific feeling one experiences when going into a place they don't feel they belong - as if they know the person working knows they can't afford what the shop has to offer. However, even though I was reluctant about visiting knowing the place to be a purveyor of expensive goods, and after having to buzz to be let in (fearing I'd be rejected) the friendliness of the man there (perhaps James?) put me at ease instantly.
He was very friendly and chatty, and made me feel comfortable perusing his unique designs. There were rings of varying prices as well as some necklaces and earrings. I saw one band that I was particularly fond of, a silver wave design for about $500.
If you're in the market for some jewels, I think this is a fantastic place to peruse. All of the designs are locally made and are obviously executed with the utmost attention to detail. Don't be hesitant when it comes to checking out James Bradshaw's collection. The shop is lovely, the designs are unique and classic, and the customer service is top-notch. Bravo! -

James has designed my 10 year anniversary ring and 20 year anniversary necklace. They are beautiful, one-of-a-kind items. James is very thorough and knowlegeable and takes the time to make sure you get a piece of jewellery that is just right for you. He made the experience a pleasure! I can hardly wait for my 25 year earrings! :-)
