Jacana Art Gallery is an awesome little gallery that has a really nice feel and vibe. The space was perfect to facilitate Yelp's Cornucopia Elite Event. I loved the mixed bubbly drinks and the delicious pumpkin desserts! Since it is a gallery the lighting is perfect and the simple aesthetic make it a great venue for any sort of party or event.

I love this space. The artwork on the wall is so interesting (at least the Red Thread Collection by Soizick Meister was very interesting)! But more over, this place is an awesome venue to have a social gathering or networking event. We came here for the Yelp Cornucopia Elite Event and we managed to set up several booths (for Spud, for Yelpers' baked goods, for Make it!, and a Mimosa bar!). I can see a lot of Holiday parties being successful here. Reminds me of the venue that was used for the Work Christmas Party in the Movie, "Love Actually" where the secretary was hitting on the boss.
Anyway, I digress. Awesome venue. Awesome gallery. Will be back!
*The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I have nothing to compare it to in Vancouver. I don't usually go into art galleries. I went to a couple in Anchorage, and this place was better for a social atmosphere because it's a larger space.*
