I only buy my Bearded Dragons food from this place, as they are great priced, fresh, good size and best part is the workers/owners are passionate about reptiles..unlike other stores.
When i moved over from London uk, i bought my 1 year old beardies with me and got a custome vivarian built by JJ and they did a wicked job, well 5 years later the VIV is still strong and my beardies are still happy little gits..
Great Place

I must say that as for J and J reptiles nobody has helped me more or better.
I dont care what anybody thinks about them.
Dear jon guess what there like that because people like you dont listen to what he has to say. He knows more about reptiles then any petstore
(petland, petsmart,ect.)
go look at some of there tanks they havent the right lighting, atleast when you go to J and J's you can tell all there animals are well taken care of.
Jim is like that do to ignorant people who go to petland and think that there the animal gods until there lizard is doing the funky chicken in there tank.I suggest going to J and J's for all your reptile needs.
oh and ps jon sounds like u overly stressed your snake out. ALWAYS HAVE THE PETS TANK OR WHAT EVER ELSE SET UP FIRST. -

I love J&J. I've purchased many a snake from them and all of them have been healthy good eaters. They have a huuge selection of reptiles to look at too.
Jim is definitely not the most loved person in the world, his blatant opinions can almost be taken as rude. But I think that he's by far one of the best people to go to if you have a question, because he has a great knowledge of pretty much anything scaley.
The only problem I have is... they don't offer the locking top tanks. they just tell you to put weight on the top of the tank. The problem with that is... if you have a certain curious cat who enjoys climbing up onto the tank sometimes these weights fall off and you end up searching for a cornsnake for a week. -

Skinks & Stinks.
There's a variety of both at J & J's.
But if a cold-blooded companion is what you crave, then get yourself down to J & J's Reptiles on 17th Ave SE. They have a wide selection of exotic snakes and lizards and skinks, in all shapes, sizes and colours. I'd just add one word of caution - if you have a sensitive nose, be prepared to breathe through you mouth for the duration of your visit, as the place is an olfactory nightmare. My lady likened the stench to that of a cross between a barn and a swamp, and I think that's definitely an apt description of the odour.
That being said, J & J's is crammed from floor to ceiling with every kind of exotic reptile imaginable and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It's not the cleanest place imaginable, but big whoop. Owning a reptile is not for the faint of heart or the squeamish anyhow. If owning a reptile is for you, then J & J's has got what you need. -

I have been going to J & J Reptiles now for a few years to get my feeder mice and other items that I need. They are not always friendly but I will say that they are very knowledgable about any type of reptile.. If you can get by the rough outlook that they pose they are great people to deal with.. I will continue to be a buyer of their products... Just wish their hours were better as I work nights and its hard to get there when they are open.
