Review from Nadine N.
Vancouver, BC
A lot of the antique stores on Main Street are full of great furniture. J & J Antiques gives you that and more. You'll also find lamps, clocks, dishes, silver, art, and toys. If you find something of interest, you might just get the story behind it. Clearly, the owner really respects the items he sells.

Review from Eetsay B.

It is a piece of the history of what Main St. was and is a jumble of antiques, collectibles and generally old things. If you know what you are looking for then venture in, but the owner is a bit cranky and doesn't seem to like browsers/looky loos/window shoppers disturbing him.
Don't even try to get in here with a stroller or wheelchair, this is an old building and the shop is a jumbled mess with barely enough room to move in a straight line from the front door to the cash register. The thing you are looking for may have been buried in that shop somewhere since 1956. I'm not even convinced the owner knows what is in there. Still, you might find what you are looking for- these shops can be like that. -
Review from J G.

If you can get to this store when it's open (they seem to keep "when they feel like being open" hours), you'll be in for a treat. This antique store lies in the heart of a strip of antique stores, but what makes this one special is that they carry lots of great art deco and other mid-century furnishings. Here you'll find unusual lamps, dishes, stained glass pieces and plenty of other surprises to make your home just a bit more unique. If you're spending the day antiquing on Main, be sure to stop by J & J's for something out of the ordinary.
