Review from Mr. B.

I'm not one to go to a Chinese, Thai or Japanese restaurant, and I'm not a fish lover, so when my sister said i should try this place and see the options, i took the challenge and ever since I've wanted to go back (two weeks ago).
I only got the General Tao Chicken, but it was fantastic (Take out). It was a large bowl of saucy chicken with green peppers, chili peppers, and green beans with noodles. It was large, and i ate it all, wanting more. I'm pretty sure it was a meal for four, but it was too good to let sit in my fridge.
I'll be heading back soon, i hope. -

My friend has been telling me about this place for a long time and I finally met her here for lunch yesterday. Why on earth did I wait so long??? This place is fantastic!
It was approximately 11:45am on a Saturday when I arrived and the place was empty so I took a seat in the back corner. The atmosphere is comfortable with nice clean lines and throw cushions along the bench seat that extends the length of the restaurant (see picture attached).
Their lunch specials range from $6.95 to $8.95 depending on if you want vegetarian, chicken (or) beef, or shrimp (or) seafood. The price of the items on their main menu range from $6.00 to $15.00 which in my opinion, isn't bad. They also have an 'all-you-can-eat' option for $22.95!
I ordered directly from the main menu and had the Chicken Red Curry with Lychee and Pineapple ($10.95) which consisted of lychee, pineapple, bamboo shoots, green peas, carrots and basil leaves and was served with rice.
My friend ordered from the lunch specials and had the Red Curry Chicken which included two spring rolls, salad (the other option was soup) and rice ($7.95).
I think I might have had a little more of my main dish in the bowl that came but she, by far, had the better deal! I'll definitely stick to the lunch menu next time... those spring rolls looked brilliant!
The food... oh the food... it was fantastic! My dish was so flavourful with the perfect amount of heat (queue the glass of water). This was a food experience! I love places like this; where you almost have to pause with joy after every mouthful.
The service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to visit this place a few more times, to try a few more dishes, so that I can push my rating up to a full five star!
Just a note on parking... although there is street parking along Brock Street, it can get quite busy. There are two municipal parking lots behind the Fire Station on Green Street which have free parking every weekday after 6:00pm, as well as Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Enjoy! -

Love this place. Today, my wife and I had the Pad Thai and the Spicy Noodle (thick rice noodle), and both were fantastic! Their lunch special also included delicious Tom Yum soup and a spring roll for $6.95!
