What do you do when your boyfriend leaves you all alone in his house with nothing to make for breakfast (and no coffee maker)?
You walk down the street to the Italian Bakery for a chocolate croissant and a latte.
We're both big fans of this place- mostly because of the DELICIOUS BAKED GOODS, but also because it's got a bit of everything (including gelato).
The service isn't always spectacular, but it's definitely a good place to go for bread, coffee, or an orange ginger cookie.Listed in: Oh Canada...

Interesting. I wrote a review after the two that appear, but it disappeared. Perhaps because it wasn't as positive as the other two? I gave two stars mainly because the baked goods are okay but the service is sometimes surly.

This bakery is down the street from me, so it's pretty handy if I need to buy last minute bread. They have a good selection and they bake their stuff fresh everyday. Out of their pastries, I like their plain croissant and their brioche. They recently started making a blueberry cream cheese croissant that was reaally good. Hopefully they keep that one.
