The Geartest place for fish keepers in Van! I live close to this store so I sometimes to everyday! Just cuz I stared my tank from this store, so ive been spent a couple of thousands dollars in this store, they were all worth it. People in this store are very friendly, they tell you lots of things you don't know or never heard. Whenever I faced some troubles, I always bring to do water test and ask what to do, they usually could solve the reason out and tell you what to do.
They have lots of fish both fresh and marine. I heard the owner is always in south pacffic, he owns some kind of fish farm there that's the source of the store. Also, the store works with the fundraise for people in south pacffic as well, so it's really nice. They don't keep to many things at a time, so you gotta always go back and check.
They have one more store in Richmond on No 3 road( that's the one where I go), but staffs work both store back and force. It's kinda funny when I saw the same ppl in the other store. -

Now I'm not a fish person really, they exist and I exist I prefer to live separately, however my fiance is a huge fan of anything to do with fish (not in the creepy Troy McClure kinda way of course) - so to thank him for putting up with my retail endeavors I indulge in his trips to the fish store.
This places has a wide variety of fish, fish tanks, tank necessities, and really knowledgeable staff.
The coolest thing about this store is their shark feeding (Tuesday nights i think?) which is just great fun for the whole family. I don't believe you can buy the sharks, but if you like salt water, fresh water, tropical or feeder fish [that is me naming every type I know] they have you covered.
So while my fiance plans his new tank all under one roof and buys feeders I entertain myself of watching real live seahorse, or if I'm really luck puffer fish! Prewarn you however, I have already been advised by my other half I should not irritate the puffer fish to make them puff it could kill them apparently and they staff may ban us... this doesn't stop me from standing in front of their tank a half hour at a time just waiting for it to happen though....Listed in: Burquitlam and surrounding
