I walked in mid-afternoon and was able to get my iPhone 3GS shattered glass screen replaced on the spot within minutes. Best price I could find for the service, really convenient to have in the neighborhood since this household has so many iproducts. Really thankful I didn't have to leave my phone overnight.

Although initially I had trouble getting them on the phone and the voicemail was full - after going in they fixed me right up.
Bought a jailbroken and unlocked iPhone 3gs that someone had tried to update through itunes. Bricked up. Within an hour I back in business and down only 40$. Thanks, iRepair. -

I was really really pleasantly surprised!
I strolled in on a Saturday afternoon with my battered old ipod that had a broken hold switch and refused to work. I was on the verge of giving up on it and just buying whatever new shiny thing Apple decided to launch when I remembered how broke I am. I decided to see if it was easily fixed.
There was nobody waiting when I went in and the friendly girl on the desk brought it straight through to the tech. She said it would be about 10 mins and that I could wait if I wanted. I decided to visit the Starbucks down the street and came back a few minutes later. By that time the place had filled up with a few more people with various iPhone and iPod woes-cracked screens, failing batteries, worn out hard drives.... all of whom were given honest answers by the tech about whether or not he could fix the issue and how much it would be. If he wasn't sure what was going on he offered diagnostics-for free.
My ipod ended up needing a battery too but they did everything for an incredibly reasonable price for me and it's now working like a dream. The repair is also guaranteed for 6 months. I saved myself from buying yet another ipod and it was all done in around 20 mins. I walked out the door texting my friends to tell them where to go. I would certainly return in the (entirely likely) event of another ipod mishap! -

When the on/sleep switch went on my ancient iPhone 3G, I thought the phone might be toast. That's what happened to my last one... repaired by some other joint. These guys fixed it overnight... and it was fine for a day or so. But then I realized the ringer switch didn't work (the ringer was permanently off) and the sleep switch still wasn't working right. It was a couple of weeks before I was able to get back there. They re-did the repair immediately, while I waited, at no charge. The phone now works perfectly - or at least as well as a 3G can.
That's customer service and taking responsibility. -

I came here to fix my ipod touch 1st generation. At first I was pretty upset because I didnt hear from them for a few weeks, and when I called to check up, they acted like they had no idea my ipod was even there and the phone number they had put on my file was something TOTALLY different than what I had given them. They said they would call me back the next day and then I didnt hear from them for about 2 more weeks.
So why am I giving them 5 stars? you are probably asking yourself.
Well, when they did finally call me back, they were super apologetic, they let me know they had tried everything to fix my ipod and they just couldnt.
They asked me to come in so they could give me a 2nd gen. ipod touch free of charge because "it's the right thing to do".
In my opinion that's true customer service. They figured out how to make it right in the end so I left with a feeling that I got something more than what I came for. -

I got my iPhone repaired here about 2 years ago. I recently referred a friend to their store and thought I should write a quick review of my experience, since it was amazing.
My roof leaked overnight and of course, directly below the dripping ceiling was my iPhone. It wouldn't turn on :( I bought a cheapy phone from Factory Direct and used it for a few months until I was walking down College St. and noticed iRepair.
I was excited, since I thought my iPhone was a gonner, but this offered hope. I brought it in and a few days later I had my phone back in perfect working condition. I think I paid $180 for the water damage cleaning and a new screen/glass installation. Well worth it since it would have been ~$800 to replace, and I was locked into paying for a data plan for another 2 years. Also, my landlord eventually paid for the repair cost.
They diagnosed the issues and called me with a quote and to ask if I wanted to go ahead with the repairs. The price was exactly as they told me and the repair was super quick. The diagnosis took a day or two and I had it back the day after they gave me the qoute.
I eventually got the iPhone 4 and handed my old 3G to my friend who is using it to this day.
Highly recommend this place. They are up front, honest and they charge a reasonable fee for superior service that you really can't find anywhere. -

As soon as iPods came to Toronto, everyone it seemed got one. And after about six months, people complained about the fact that the batteries seemed to go dead after a few charges and recharges. Taking it back to Apple at that point became ludicrously expensive and people soon found it was almost cheaper to buy a new one. Very clever, Apple.
However, walking about one day with a depleted battery in my old school iPod, I happened across http://iRepair.ca. Figuring, what have I got to lose, I brought the iPod in for repair. The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable, and are able to run several diagnostics on your iPod or iPhone to figure out the problem. Within minutes they come up with a diagnosis and a solution. Repairs are done while you wait and are definitely reasonable considering in most cases, Apple's answer is "buy a new one". They have a large range of replacement batteries that do not cost an arm and a leg. If ever in need, make sure this place is the first port of call. -

I came here twice to fix my iPod touch issues and both really pleased with the service. The people are really friendly and tell you like it is. Their prices are really good too. It's definately the best alternative to getting fixed by apple (ahem...rip off)
First time I had water damaged my iPod touch. Everything was working but the screen was really dim and you could barely see. Their website says they charge $15 for diagnotics. They took my iPod to the back and opened it up to see if anything was salvagable. He came back saying there was nothing they can really do short of charging me $150 to get a new computer board (apple wanted to charge me $200). he didn't charge me for the diagnostics.
I took the ipod home to contemplate my options, and ended up buying a used one for $100.
The 2nd time I came was bc this used one had an issue with the screen. The first time I brought it in, they were going to charge me about 30-40 for the fixing. I left my ipod there, then realized I could use the OLD one i had, and see if they would use the part maybe save some $. I gave them a call, and showed up again with the old ipod.
They agreed, and took the old one for parts, cuz some of them were useable. and I save $40 !!
i really liked the flexibility in their services.
And one of the staff texted me after the fact and recommended and awesome game for me based on my games on my ipod!!! -

So. D and I are at the laundromat and I can't find our iPod touch. I want to play games while we wait. D is less than sympathetic because he brought a book. (I didn't, as I was planning to dominate the Word Warp world while he read.. I'm mad because I think he forgot it. Then I casually (but bitchy because I'm pissed I'm going to be bored all because of him) walk by all our front-loading washing machines... the kind with the transparent front so you can watch your clothes spinning around... and what do I see pressed up against the door, wet, sudsy and spinning BUT MY IPOD.
Crap.
I guess I put the iPod in my pocket and then put my jacket in the wash. Now there's nothing left to do but fret and wait for the cycle to finish... 32 minutes later...
Double effing crap.
This was right before Christmas... so (without attempting to turn it on) I put the poor wet iPod in a bowl of rice (which saved my Blackberry in an earlier, unrelated, traumatic toilet-dropping incident) when we got home and left it there while we went family-visiting for 8 days... got home, tried to get it going... things were not good. It would only work if plugged into my computer, and the whole screen was wobbly/wavy with a water-damage-evident screen. It was fried.
SHIT.
So then I remembered reading in Toronto Life a few months ago about some magical iPod repair place... went to my back issue archive (housed in our bathroom of course) and identified the mystical http://iRepair.ca.
From start to finish this has been an absolutely BRILLIANT experience.
I submitted my electronic order for diagnosis online and mailed my iPod off on Wednesday, Dec. 30. All you have to pay for when you submit this online diagnostic request is return shipping for your iPod (the diagnostic testing is free!), and they offer a range of options/prices for shipping. Taking into account weekends and the holiday season, I expected a significant delay. I was wrong!
I received a request for payment ($50) on Tuesday, Jan. 5 - this is the rate http://iRepair.ca offers for a successful water damage iPod touch repair. If they do the full cleaning/drying process and are unsuccessful in resuscitating your iPod, you only have to pay $20.
So I paid online on Wednesday, Jan. 6, authorizing them to proceed with the treatment/repair process. I got a notice of shipment back to me on Thursday, Jan. 7 and here I am on Friday, Jan. 8 with a gorgeous, good-as-brand-spankin'-new iPod touch back in my hot little hands!!!
If THAT is not divine I don't know what is. And can we just review the fact that I didn't speak to a person ONCE during this whole process? Everything went perfectly smoothly using an 100% online method. Very cool. Wicked awesome, even, if you will.
There is a God and his name is http://iRepair.ca. -

Such a great place that I'm giving them 5 stars even though they couldn't fix my phone. I brought in my old 3G which after months of acting up had finally just stopped turning on completely. The guy behind the desk was super friendly, and with absolutely no wait he ran a few tests on it. When that failed to diagnose a problem he opened it up and saw severe water damage and a blown chip. He did a few more tests to make sure, and then told me the thing was a write off . It probably took him 20 minutes to do this, but there was no charge. Obviously it would have been great if he could have fixed it, but judging from other reviews if it is possible to fix, they will find a way. I'm planning on evangelizing about this place to everybody I know with an iphone.

really the only reliable option to fix your iphone. but be prepared for stumbling diagnostics which equal more days without your phone. in the end they solve the issue and are good people. just factor in some extra time, so you don't get all mad and hurt the feelings of these sweet computer elves.
