Super fast Service at a reasonable price. Eric fixed both the back and front of my iPhone 4 in about 15 minutes. His service was great! Total cost was $70. He came to my job and we sat on the patio while I waited for him to do all the repairs.
I wanted a white cover instead of my original black, but all he had was black when he arrived. So if you want a white cover be sure to remind him in advance. Other than that his service is great! -

Eric is the man! I mean, he is DA MAN! So here's what happened...
I busted the screen on my I Phone because I am a colossal idiot. I took it to the Mac Store Genius Bar and, as expected, I was told it would cost me over two hundred bucks to fix it. No thank you! So I texted Eric and he was at my house the next day exactly when he said he'd be there. He was courteous, professional, and fixed phone in about an hour for WAY less than half of what they were quoting me at the Mac Store. This much I know: From now till forever, he will be my go to guy for all my Mac problems. LOVE HIM! -

Typing this up on the iPhone 4S that Eric fixed for me.
I shattered the front screen from the first and ONLY time I've ever dropped my phone (how unlucky is that?) earlier this week. I gave Eric a call as his $75 fee was a much cheaper alternative than the $200 refurb from the Apple store.
He arrived 1 minute earlier than our scheduled appointment and my phone was looking brand new in 20 minutes. He's a really nice guy. He also converted my phone to white for no additional cost and I chose to keep a black home button, which looks friggen sweet.
HIGHLY recommended to anybody. -

So happy I found Eric on Yelp! The home button on my iPhone 4 was completely shot and the price quote from Apple just wasn't worth it with a new phone already released. Sent Eric a quick email to see what he might be able to do and quickly received a quote less than half of Apple's price.
We set up an appointment -- Eric came to my house, spent about 20 minutes doing what he does, and the results were, as expected, perfect. Been a few days now and no issues what so ever.
Will be my first call for any iPhone issues here on out. -

I found Eric on yelp and I very happy I did. I broke the screen on my iphone and I thought there was nothing I could do but buy another one. Eric changed the screen fast and saved me money because I would have paid a lot more if I would have bought a new iphone. I recommend him to anyone.

I shattered my IPhone 4 screen last night...I found Eric on Yelp and read all his great reviews and decided to call him up to see if he could fix my phone...he offered to meet the very next day! Very nice guy, very efficient and did awesome work for a great price! Will totally refer him and go back to him if I shatter my screen again lol :)

At first he was great communicating through text and said he would order my part and have it in 3 to 4 days. 3 weeks later I had to contact him and he said he would meet me at a coffee shop. I went there and 5 min before I was supposed to meet him he said he couldn't because of a flat tire. I asked him for alternatives and never heard back from him!

My Co-worker cracked her Screen on her iPhone 4S (see Picture) and I found eric on Yelp because he had 5 stars with many ratings, he came over to our work and he fixed my coworkers iPhone in 20 minutes, for $79, that was the best price I could find in town, and the screen is brand new, it is also the Retina display he installed with it, it looks like the phone never got broken, I totally recommend Eric to anyone that has a broken iPhone, I emailed him and responded back within a few minutes, and he came within 2 hours in the same day to replace the screen, 5 STARS!!!! Thanks Eric!!! I know alot of friends with iphones and if they ever break it, I will call eric everytime.

My wife's iPhone 3GS had a shattered screen. I met Eric at a coffee shop. He had brought his cute 3yo son with him.
Eric is a hard worker. Replaced the screen in 20 minutes. A Perfect Job!

This morning I texted Eric that I needed my cracked iPhone 3GS screen replaced. He texted back a couple hours later saying he could come to my place and do the work this evening around 6:00. Great!
When Eric arrived I told him to replace the battery too. So the total price came to $75. Fine!
In about 15 minutes he'd replaced both the glass and battery. Now my iPhone is back in great condition. If I did a traded in today through Apple's exchange program they'd pay me $110, so the repairs were worth it. Cha-Ching!

So my LCD has been slowly dying. Dead pixels creeping across the screen in the shape of cuba. I know an iphone 5 is going to be coing in June or Fall and I don't really want to get stuck with a 4 right before the new one comes out.
What are my options?:
1) "Upgrade" my 16Gb 3GS to a Refurbished 8Gb 3GS on my line, wait for the new phone to come out, upgrade a second line and swap? Yeah, Drop $90 now and $200 later? no thanks!
2) "Upgrade" to a Iphone 4 for full price and miss the next version? why?!
3) Pay Apple $200+ to fix it? Sure I'm no locked into another 2 year contract, but really?
4) Call, text or email Eric and have him replace the LCD AND Battery AND give me a battery extender for $100.
BINGO.

Dropped and cracked my 3GS so bad I couldn't really tip my iphone over due to fearing that the glass pieces would fall out.
I SOOO wasn't willing to pay $200 at the mac store ro repair my screen so I found Eric through Yelp.
He came to my house the next night & was punctual. He brought his 3 year old son Sean. After 20 minutes my phone looked brand new! It only cost me $65 & I also tipped him.
I highly recommend Eric~ How you could you not love service that comes to you? -

I am so happy with Eric's service. He responds quickly to text and he is very well-priced. I had a cracked LCD that the Apple store wanted to charge me over $200 to repair and Eric fixed my phone and replaced my sister's iphone button for the price of $150.
We met at Border's in Pasadena where he worked in his car and I just read magazines. He goes to other people's houses too but I live a bit further away so I was happy to meet him at Borders.
He is friendly and fast and he travels with his 3 year old son. Overall, one cool guy offering inexpendable services for Iphone users. -

Yesterday evening I accidentally dropped my iPhone, and the result was a badly cracked iPhone screen.
Thanks to a recommendation by Hsiawen, (http://tinyurl.com/Hsi...) immediately I was able to find the right person to fix my iPhone.
Hsiawen gave me Eric's phone number along with a link to Eric's Yelp page.
I called Eric this morning around 11:00 am, and by 2:00 pm he was at my home. He drove all the way from Pasadena to Santa Clarita.
My iPhone was fixed in minutes, at my home, and for a very reasonable price.
I highly recommend Eric. He seems like a great guy, he brought his cute son with him, and I can tell that he also is a very good father.
My phone looks like new!

I cracked the LCD on my iPhone 3Gs and opted for something other than an expensive Apple repair.
Found this guy on Craigslist and arranged for a repair. Eric comes to you and is based out of Pasadena. He seems to be very busy but is quick to plan your repair.
He arrived like other posters said with his rambunctious child. But he was so fast in the repair I did not mind. Eric is Japanese and does this to pay his way through school. He comes prepared, was cordial and didn't make a mess.
Cracked LCD is a faster repair than a cracked glass screen so I got lucky. Price was $130 I believe and being that the part itself before shipping is $95, this was a great and convenient route to go.

Yep, this guy is great! I dropped my iPhone. The entire screen was shattered. I called Eric. He called me back within the hour. Within three hours he was at my house and fixed my iPhone in 20 minutes. Awesome!

My friend broke the touchscreen glass on his 3GS when he put it into his pocket (don't know how that happened), but thought repairing it would cost a fortune.
Found Eric's website on google, and emailed him. Emailed him to set up a meeting at a tea place in San Gabriel. He was cool enough to travel from Pasadena to San Gabriel just to meet me up.
Eric was alittle late, but he texted me telling me he was running late and his estimated time of arrival, which is very courteous of him. He came with his 3 year old son, with all his tools prepared, and fixed my friend's 3GS in matter of 10 minutes, right there in the restaurant.
Final Cost: $75.00, plus tip. which is so much cheaper than other places i found online where you have to drive to them and they still run you about $100. After he was done, the screen looked as good as new.
What he needs if you ask him to meet at a public place, is a wall socket, cause he needs to use a blow dryer when repairing the touchscreen glass.
Nice guy, pleasure doing business with him, i would totally recommend him to any one of my friends. Good guy, good price, good quality work. -

Fantastic job! I demolished the screen of my iPhone to the extent I was getting glass shards in my thumb. He came to my office in Pasadena and had it fixed less than 2 hours after I first contacted him - repair itself took about 15 minutes.

What more can I say other than the fact that Eric is awesome. Great guy, super nice, great prices, and does a stellar job. He also works quickly and is willing to meet you wherever is convenient. Cannot recommend him enough. Fixed my cracked iphone 4 screen (that was completely dissambled in a ziploc bag) in about 20 minutes. Works perfectly now and I am happy to have a working iphone again!

Eric is awesome! I called him after reading the excellent reviews on this site. Both of our schedules were really busy, so he agreed to meet me at the gym. He texted me when he was in the parking lot. I came out and gave him my iphone to fix. He said he would be done in 20 minutes, so I went back in to work out. After a few minutes I started feeling really stupid that I just gave my iphone to a stranger in a car, so I went back out to check on him, half expecting him to be gone with my phone. Surprise! He was done! My poor cracked iphone was good as new. He asked me for $49 and I gave him $60 because I was so pleased. That was the least painful repair of anything in my life! I'm so glad I checked http://yelp.com before overpaying at a store.

After AppleCare demonstrated how useless they are, I looked for a place to repair my cracked screen. Rather than pay $270 for a replacement phone and new worthless Applecare plan, I called Eric. He repaired the screen on my iphone 3gs in less than 20 minutes. The repair set me back $75 and the customer service was much better.

Thanks to all yelpers for their reviews on Eric, that how I found and contacted him. Great price and did a great job. He came to my home to repair my son's 3Gs, he had cracked the touchscreen on his phone. He was on time and repaired the phone quickly. He asked my son to check it make sure everything was working and it was. I'm not sure about the rambunctious child comment in another review; his little boy was so quite and well-behaved. Anyway, strongly recommend Eric, he's extremely nice, knowledgeable & reasonably priced. Great value, which is a rare find these days. Oh - and he's going to do another repair - my son's phone doesn't vibrate when on silent, this happened before the drop, and Eric offered to fix it for $10. So much better than going to the Apple store!

Eric is AMAZING! I tripped and broke the glass on my iphone 3g. For $59 he comes to you to replace the glass and for another $20 he replaces the battery. He texted me back within 5 minutes and here I am the next day getting the screen repaired while I hang out at home. What a bargain compared to other places where you have to go in to them! Can't say enough good things.

Eric Takuya Izutsu owner of MacTech LA is awesome. Replaced my wifes shattered screen on her iphone in less than 30 minutes...and he comes to you. We called other iphone screen repair shops before stumbling upon Eric and they were charging $70 on up to $250! Eric charges less and he comes to you. He comes with his little 3 year old boy who is very well behaved so be sure to tip him a bit extra. Highly recommend!
