When all you can eat pancakes shows up I show up! I prefer IHOP pancakes over ABC or Dennys.

It's an IHOP! Consistent.
Looking for all-day breakfast? IHOP will be there. Tasty options, decent service, screaming kids, reasonable price. Probably a long but fast moving line up. I'd never hesitate to eat here if I'm looking for a quick pancake / waffle / crepe. Wouldn't recommend taking a date.
I'd pick it any day over McDonalds or Burger King, but then again I'd starve before eating at McDonalds or Burger King. -

Not the best place for food... but better than McDonalds across the way, that's for sure. In this part of Burnaby, options are slim pickin's for a good breakfast so IHOP is definitely one of the best choices. The pancakes are tasty, and I like their multigrain pancakes. However, they can't really be that healthy once you load on the butter and the syrup.
Service is decent and prices are average. It's very typical of a Denny's or a Shari's (in the US). -

To celebrate looking for wedding dresses, I went with my mom here for breakfast. OH MY GOSH! I am not a huge of crepes, but I got the International Crepe Passport... sure I get eggs, sausage and bacon, but that's not the important part. I got the Danish Crepe with Apple Filling. It was topped with whip cream and stuffed with sweet cream cheese (?) and cooked apples. Why didn't I get this all the other times I've had mediocre food here?
I also got to try the spinach and mushroom omelette. The spinach wasn't overcooked and still tasted like spinach. It was also covered with what I think is hollandaise, but it was kind of grainy.
I sampled the steak omelette. It was kind of gross. The meat looked like it was sliced and then squished back together when it was cooked. I didn't like it.
Since I needed more sugar, I also ordered a strawberry lemonade. I thought it might have actual strawberries (I don't mean fresh, but actual strawberries) in it, but it was syrup instead.
Our service was good. Nothing special, but good. -

Breakfast for dinner? SURE.
This is your kind of place if "Sure" was your answer. They offer scrumptious pancakes and waffles with whipped cream, fruit, and syrup, along with healthier selections around eggs and toast. Whatever it is that you eat for breakfast- you will be able to devour it here.
The staff is super friendly and are clearly trained to give fast service. Maybe it's because everytime I come here, especially in the mornings, I have to wait because there are so many families here. And if you come in the afternoon - you're gonna be waiting because there are so many seniors here! -

I only come here when I feel like breakfast and I dont like pancakes so I just come here for eggs, hashbrowns, etc. There isn't much to say about the place, it's had the same decor since I was 8 and the food is pretty mediocre. I find the portions pretty average or less and not really worth what they charge you. The most recent time I went, the waitress was nowhere to be seen after she brought our food, however other tables seemed to be getting the "how's the food/how's it going" pleasantries. I also noticed how the waitresses tend to have their fingers in the food when they bring it out to you... My most recent visit was also my last.

I've been here a couple times for breakfast on the weekend and the place is always busy. This time out I chose the Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity (2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 strips of bacon & 2 buttermilk pancakes with your choice of toppings: cinnamon apple compote, strawberry or bluberry - all with whipped topping). It was quite good, especially the cinnamon apple compote with whipped cream. But what I really like about this IHOP is that for a very busy place, the service is always friendly and good.

Don't bother with this location, just go down to the Metrotown one if you can. The staff in here were so rude on the 2 times I've been that I just gave up, and I don't expect much.
They never have the specials menu here (with the strawberry-cream-cheese specials or the older fruits ones) and if you ask you just get the response "that doesn't exist don't know what you're talking about".
Don't expect a refill on your water, coffee or any beverage here, unlike all the other ihops I've been to, this one will charge you double. Your order will come with a huge helping of attitude. The portions were mediocre, they forgot who ordered what and tsk tsked when we had someone join our party just as we were starting to order.
Food was decent and warm, just smaller than other ihops.
