MacEwan's Intercamp is a pretty decent school newspaper. It's not the best but it'll do!
There grammatical errors in it (which drive me crazy) but it definitely helps to pass the time on campus. I, and many of my fellow MacEwanites can testify to that.
Students write and publish the paper so I really respect it for that reason. It's also nice that the topics covered in Intercamp are what students care about, for the most parts (since it's written by the students).
Overall, it's a decent publication and it gets 4 stars because it helps me to kill time on campus. All students can agree that's a very important characteristic! -

MacEwan's school newspaper is..well.. a school newspaper. It is nothing special in comparison to The Gateway, which is somewhat disappointing considering our professional writing department and design department. You think that the two programs could collaborate and produce something pretty cool.
That being said, the writing is good and the information is usually pretty useful and interesting. I read it ever so often when I am waiting for class or if I am bored. Overall, Intercamp is a good school newspaper for MacEwan students to read.
