A great place to buy board games. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the latest games and is more than willing to take the time to help you find what you need or even chat about that one obscure board game you played ten year ago.

Wanna buy a board game? This is THE place. The owner Jack will give you an excellent description of the games. And toys and kites. BUT!! what you really want to do is get in on "game nights" Thursday and Sunday. You have to ask real nice and be ready to play complicated games. BUT! you might get Jack's bet on whether the invitees might play the game you bought or want to buy. And teach it to you!!
Be aware: the invitees are 99% guys, 50% over 30 and 50% over 40. -

This store captures your interest from the front door to the back of the store. The stock is Euro-games, puzzles, scientific / mechanical and slot car. A wide variety of everything for all ages.

I have to say that I LOVE this store. I only shop there a couple times a year, usually at Christmas and for my SO's birthday, but I've had nothing but wonderful service from the owner. The selection of games, puzzles, and toys is almost overwhelming. Not sure on what to buy or if you'll like it? Ask. You'll get a great description to help you decide what's best for you. I went one Christmas looking for something that I could only order online through a tech website and had the owner offer to order it in for me.

The moral of the story, is we tried returning the game and couldn't. Huh? Ummm... if a game's opened and I don't like it, then what am I meant to do with it? Games are supposed to be fun, and aren't to everyone's taste. The receipt says "recept required for return". And yet they won't accept our return. Note to small retailers: if you have ridiculous policies, then you should make it clear before people buy. Seriously disappointed. I won't come here again. I'd rather buy from Amazon or eBay. The golden rule with retail is if I like it, I might tell my friends, but if I have a negative experience I will tell everyone I know.

If you like board games and you're ready to you're ready to graduate from Monopoly, this is where you go. As other reviewers mentioned, Jack will give you great recommendations.
