This office moved to this address recently. Automated reminder/confirmation calls were made a day or two in advance.
It is a beautiful, brand new, spacious office with a wonderful team of ladies making us all feel comfortable.  Face it, we're all here awaiting an unpleasant procedure and most of us are full of anxiety.
The clean, soothing reception area helps to ease the initial tension.  The professionals get you through all the paperwork quickly.  Then it's off to the change rooms to slip into cute, pink smocks.  We are all given our own lockers to put our belongings into.  Nice touch.  The second waiting area is clean and comfortable with nice chairs and plenty of new magazines.  The coffee counter is well stocked.  I won't describe the mammogram experience.  It is what it is, but the technician I had was top shelf.  A very kind woman.
A radiologist read my image right away and the technician told me I was good to go.
Back to the change rooms where we are supplied with deodorant and other niceties.  This area has plenty of parking and is a quick jog off Calgary trail.
    It's open 7:30am-4:30pm.

I really don't 'know how to rate my last visit. It was the first time I'd been to the new location. Was very impressed with the new space, the automated reminder was great, the receptionists were great, the technician that did my bone density test was professional, kind and patient.
Things went from great to terrible the minute I stepped into the room for my mammogram. I'm fully aware that the procedure can be a bit uncomfortable. I've been going for mammograms for 14 years. Even the time the scanner locked on me and the technician had a problem releasing it, it wasn't the greatest scenario, but it could have been worse :-(.
The mammogram I had last week WAS the worst scenario. The technician was uncaring, extremely rough (a week later and I have the bruises to prove it), and does not have the personality for this field. I'll spare her the embarrassment by not publishing her name. I just hope she gets the message.
I will continue to go back to this location one more time and guaranteed I will be asking for a different technician if for some odd stroke of luck, I get the same woman. This visit is why women are terrified of mammograms and why they never return for another. I've been enough times to know that this is not the norm and that screening for breast cancer is a must!
