Inferno's is my favorite restaurant in Winnipeg. This is one restaurant that I've been going to for awhile and actually appreciate more for what it is throughout my travels in larger cities with a wider selection of restaurants.
The food is always creative and delicious. I rarely eat meaty entree's, but have had a few of theirs and they always do it right, be it lamb, chicken or beef.
I like packed, casual noisy bistros and this place pulls it off.
The best thing about inferno's? The prices. I have never been to a restaurant like this with such reasonable prices.
Make a reservation, because it gets packed! For good reason. -

Went here earlier this year and thought the food was decent. Very cozy and had a good french menu. The appetizers we shared included steak tartare, trio des pate, and something else...tartare was solid, and the pates were ok... My entree was the artic char. Alsopretty good..tasted rich with the lobster gruyère...everything here was good..but i would say forgettable. Would come back to try other things on the menu.

Inferno's seemed so much better a couple of years ago when I last visited Winnipeg - did I imagine it? Our meal was fine - nothing really wrong, but nothing amazing. The price is right at least. The service was cery slow (there weren't many people when we arrived and it was STILL slow). I think one of the owners was serving us...she seemed overwhelmed. Small menu of wines by the glass, but the tea is delightful. An ok meal, but don't scheudle your trip/eveing around it.

Was a Gem now a Cubic Zirc.. Good is so inconsistent now. My wife and I have had subpar meals many times in a row.
Chicken overcooked, burnt, dry. Infernos is just not what it was originally.
If you hit it on the right night you will hand a good meal. -

This spot's often busy, so a reservation is recommended. A creative menu and interesting specials. Haute cuisine at plebian prices.
