5 stars for their General Tao's Chicken... 3 stars for everything else. But the General Tao's does keep me coming back... sometimes just for that...
A good take out option if u live in the area. They deliver, they're reasonably priced, they're not too greasy and have some Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes.
The dishes are sometimes hit and miss but none are inedible. I like the generals tao's chicken, curry pad Thai without shrimp, chicken satay, szechuan tofu, and the garlic greens.
Wasn't a huge fan of the Hanoi chicken even though they had it as a chef's specialty, the spicy string beans, or the spring rolls but it could be because I got it delivered and the green curry had a cornstarch thickened texture.
I've never dined in but I've picked up food and the interior looked nice, and some dishes might be better if they didn't sit in a take out container.
All in all 3 stars as a take out/delivery option if u live in the area. -

Yet ANOTHER meh "pan Asian" thing that Toronto excels at. Nothing offensive + place is clean but everything tastes the same!!! Def. nothing like the restaurant with the same name in NYC. too bad as their location has potential.

Indochine is a fine place for a quick Asian fix at lunch in the Bloor/Yonge neighborhood. They have a good selection of lunch specials, which include soup and a vermicelli/pad thai type of entree, usually with $1+ for a spring roll. I have always enjoyed the food there.
The service is only so-so, as they are usually quite busy and can't keep up. The servers themselves are very nice, so that makes up for it. I would not recommend going if you need a fast lunch, but otherwise Indochine is pretty good. -

This place is quite lovely. The food was good -- not disgustingly salty or greasy like some Asian food joints -- and it's priced reasonably. I left satisfied and would probably visit it again. The staff is also really friendly, and the place is attractive and clean.

This place is completely revolting. Don't go. I feel bad saying this because they have really nice service but EVERYTHING, from the soup to the noodles to the tasteless chicken to the overcooked rice is just horrible. Blech.
