Two words: Muf Fin. Technically, it's just one word, but the deliciousness contained in the blueberry masterpiece I consumed can not be justly contained in one little word! Was it $3.25? Yes. Would I happily pay that again? Yes.
My only regret is that I didn't throw calorie caution to the wind and try a banana nut number. The muffin was huge, moist, sweet and delicious. The coffee was a-ok too.
It's what a coffee shop should be complete with an indie vibe and the occasional live music. Throw in the muffins, and you've got a little piece of cozy nirvana that you would probably never leave if it weren't for that sandy white beach nearby.Listed in: My Clearwater Vacation

My new favorite challenge for vacations or out-of-town weekend jaunts is to find the best local indie coffee shops in the area. If you find yourself in Indian Rocks/Shores, people -- this is the place. The muffins, as other reviewers before me have said, are really awesome. I sampled the Maui Morning (nuts, raisins, coconut, carrot) and the Banana Nut. The Maui is something to write home about and I would order it again without question.
There is cozy indoor seating, as well as 6 or so picnic tables outside on a screened-in patio and then also covered tables in the front yard. They have open mic nights on Saturdays with beer and wine.
I tried a sugar free iced vanilla latte and a "regular" coffee the next day and both were good. They bake all their own pastries; and it appears the owners are Canadian. The staff is friendly and warm and I would recommend this place to anyone heading to Indian Shores. -

Closes at 5 M-Th, because naturally people only drink coffee when it is 95 degrees outside. You guys are idiots. It's a coffee shop, do your research, its where people go to read, study, meet, hang out, pass time, relax. Clearly you don't typically do those activities mid-day, even if you are tourist. If you vacation to the beach, guess where you aren't likely to spend your time? Inside. That tip is free.

Sit out on the screened-in porch to not bask in the traffic and maybe some parrots will come by. And yes, the muffins are that good. Thanks for the tip on the Maui one.

An incredible life-changing muffin. And I'm not a muffin person. Don't know how they do it, but my entire blueberry muffin was as good as the muffin-top.
My coffee was really good, a quality coffee buzz similar to the buzz one experiences in the Pacific Northwest. A perfect escape from the thunderstorm that postponed the start of our beach day. Definitely going back next time we're in the area. -

Just a note to customers from Canada..you CAN buy coffee here and take it back to Canada or whatever country you are from! They will NOT confiscate it at the airport!!!
Also, had a glass of excellent Argentine Pinot..Greg has good taste when it comes to wine!1 Previous Review: Show all »

My dad frequents this place when he needs a fast coffee and always told me about it. So last week I stopped in with my mom.
I got a small latte with vanilla and caramel syrup (he has a fancy name for it, but I have since forgotten it), two croissants (one for me and one for her because my dad raved about them), and one "chocolate croissant" (pain au chocolat... for my mom). It came up to somewhere around $10.
The coffee ended up sweet with the syrup, to the point of passing on sugar. It wasn't overbearing though, thankfully. The croissants probably would have been a 5/5 if I got one when they were fresh in the morning (this coming from a former French resident, and this was at 2p.m.). The "chocolate croissant" must have been prepared after the regular ones and my mom "ohhmaagawwwd"-ed over it.
The place itself is a small red building with some outside seating (and a bowl of water for poochies), and I want to say they have live music on Saturday nights.
I think it's worth a stop, and I'll probably do so again in the near future. -

I was in town for a brief vacation for a few days and discovered this little gem. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast sandwiches were made to order and tasted super fresh. The atmosphere was quiet, peaceful and very enjoyable. The staff was really nice and attentive! Next time i'm in the area again i will not hesitate to come back and relax with a fine cup of coffee.

A coffee shop that bakes their own pastries, how rare is that? The building is unique, people friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the area.
And the espresso was decent. I sometimes stop here for a break on my bicycle ride since it's two thirds of the way back to where I typically stay. I discovered that many of the locals come here so that's always a good sign. -

I loved this place from the moment I walked in the door. I only wish it were closer! The coffee is excellent and the vibe is cool and laid back. Live music on the porch. The owner's son makes his own special chocolate drink. This is a cool place. Can't wait to go back!

Decent coffee for a sleepy beach town. Very cozy and quite coffeehouse. If you are visiting the area, definitely stop by.

We usually hit this once or twice when we come to Indian Rocks Beach on our semi-holiday visit. I like the coffee, and there's plenty of places to sit and hang out. Since there's not that many local coffee places - this is one of the two places we go and enjoy. Good lattes - and they have some funky blends.
