Went here on a Monday to try out their lunch buffet (parents had a teambuy coupon to use).  We were all hungry and freezing from the "nice" Edmonton winter so we all did the buffet ($14/person).  We also ordered some chai tea's ($2.50) to warm us.  These were okay, didn't really have much of a taste to it.

Anyways, there is a decent amount of food to choose from.  For colds/starters, there are vegetable salads, pasta salads, etc. Nothing to special here.

For the entrees, there was about 8-10 main items.  Tried pretty much everything except for the cream of mushroom soup.  So a quick list would be:

    - Butter chicken (good sauce but chicken was pretty dry)
    * Sweet vegetable soup (tasty but the meat in it was really dry as well)
    * Goat (very good, nice and moist, best item on the buffet)
    - Rice (two types: steamed white rice and yellow saffron rice)
    * Vegetable pakora and vegetable samosas's (both tasty)
    - Vegetable in cream sauce (ehhh so-so)
    - Regular vegetables (some carrots, peas, etc. - nothing special)
    * Lentil/beans dish (very good, smooth texture to it)
    * Naan bread (DELICIOUS - nice and hot, they make it fresh and bring it right to your table)

Then for dessert, they had three items:
    * Honey candy (sweet, tastes almost like baklava)
    * Mango custard (smooth texture with hint of mango flavour)
    - Rice pudding (also good)
    - Cake bread (almost like a sponge cake with icing on top)

Sorry, I don't know most of the dish names (for the *, I'd say make sure you try those but if your doing buffet, I guess you'll try everything).  Place was fairly busy for lunch.  Waitress, who I think was also the owner, was very nice and accommodating to my dad's needs (he is lactose intolerant).  She showed us which dishes he could eat and made the naan bread/chai tea without milk, which was very appreciated!

Decent for buffet but there are better places in Edmonton.

This place has a great atmosphere but the food did not seem fresh and the place was dirty.  As I stood in the buffet line, I had to dig through the dishes just to find ONE clean one and it was not an easy task.  They all had crud on them. The tables were also dirty. I can say with certainty that the belly dancing was the best thing about it and I will never eat there again.

We went to the Indian Grill on Sun right before V-day, and 1st of all let me say watch out its sooooo slippery and they have no salt thrown down....
so we go in and out server sits us and walks away lolz..umm okay 5 mins later he takes our drink order and the guy is super quiet and thats coming from a girl whos quite quiet lol The food was good nann was super fresh and yummy. They had an alright selection of food nothing compared to new asian village. Its mainly the server I think was a little slow...because I had my kids with me and I asked how much did the buffet cost for the kids he asked their age and I said 3 and 4 and he said 7 bucks which I think is kinda high cause really what are they gonna eat there... nann and some rice maybe a small chunk of butter chicken with no sauce and desert he then comes back a little later making small ...wait trying to make small talk with my hubby saying how Indian buffets were really expensive and hes been to some place that charge 100/person umm ok buddy...he must have been colour blind because even thou my children look white me and my hubby are clearly brown ...I think we know a little about curry.... and that theres no place in edmonton that charges 100/person anyways the food was really good the location is kinda out of our way and if that makes no sense its because Im really sick and my brain isn't working 100% :-D
    Happy Eating
