In-N-Out is a one of a kind deal. They are not in a league where you can compare them to any other fast food chain. They are neither greasy nor fast foodie. They are fresh, always. The fries are delicious, although I only like them when they are hot with salt. The do one thing... Cheeseburgers and they do it right.
There are many many things that are not on the menu. The menu is basic, super short. There is a secret menu on their website if you want to know all the ins and outs of In-N-Out. My favorite thing is Animal Style French Fries!!!
Although this particular location is always busy and the line at the drive-thru is always pretty long (at least when I've been there) it always goes fast. Way faster then I thought it would go. And out of all the times I've dined here, I have only had my order messed up once, in over 10 years. I would say that is a fantastic track record. Yummy.
With the little bar stools, hats to wear, sticker games, In-N-Out has become to my kids what McDonald's was to me growing up. I'm glad because I feel like it is healthier. My kids love the grilled cheese sandwiches -

I like a good burger, and I especially like a good burger when it's prepare the way I like it. I ordered the double double combo with no mayo but with everything else. I opt for some ice tea as well.
This location is very busy, the line in the drive-thru was at least 15 cars deep, and I am very glad I ate inside. The service inside was friendly and efficient. My burger was ready within 5 minutes after I ordered it. I am glad to see that they made it Johnny on the spot!
The burger was very good. http://www.yelp.com/bi... The only issue I had with it was that the tomato was ice cold. I am happy so see that the veggies were nice and fresh but man, it was cold, which made my first bite a little off. I let the burger sit a minute and ate my fries. After a the minute, the tomato came up to room temp. Now, on my second bite, the burger was really great. Great flavor on the beef patty and the cheese nicely melted around the beef.
The place was busy and it was good to see they had someone constantly cleaning around the place. -

I could not believe this place is still in business !?! Just to get an order in took me 15min. There wasn't even much of a line in front of me...yet my gas got wasted as my time. Because, Honey, the food ranks right in there with the service. Yuk. Avoid it . Better burgers out there & their fries have got to be better ! Right ? You betcha !

One thing they need to change, stop putting yellow lettuce in the burgers! I ordered a grilled cheese, it took longer to make than the regular burgers and the lettuce tasted horrendous, I was disappointed with the morning shifts performance

Five guys/In-n-Out ... I cant decide. In n Out is kinda nostolgic for me but they always have fresh food and fast friendly service which earns them 4 stars in my book. As always to save on money opt for their spread packet instead of animal style. To me its pretty much the same thing.

I Don't Even Need To Say Anything. They have The Best Burgers Ever. AlWays Perfect No Matter What In-N-Out You Go To. AlWays Ask For Extra Lettuce. UnMatched, Unsubstitutiable. If You Want In-N-Out, You Have To Get It, There's No Settling! Trust Me.

Review from Nicole C.
First In-N-Out experience and because of the hype, had no idea what to expect. My aunt had been meat free for a few months back in NY before she moved to California. She told me later, "Nik, this place is why I started eating meat again!"
But I certainly wasn't disappointed. At first glance, I thought the burgers looked exactly like Shake Shack burgers. If you've never tried it, just picture a burger that looks eerily similar to In-N-Out's. Even the sauce looked the same. The taste, however, was slightly different. I was happy about that because I wanted to try something different. I really enjoyed it but wasn't wild about the animal fries. Not that it wasn't good - it was! - but it was a little heavy on the onions.
Unlike most fast food places in NYC, this was very clean.
At the top of my list for fast food now, for sure! -

I'm a massive burger fan and In-N-Out Burger makes me woozy with delight! Quite possibly one of the greatest things about now living in California is I can eat here any time I like!
I'm a pretty simple girl so my order is usually a cheeseburger (or if I'm not feeling in a meaty mood, grilled cheese animal style) with french fries animal style plus a choco-vanilla shake (or a root beer float, not listed on the menu). I'm so happy to sit back in a food coma and let the world pass me by after an In-N-Out fix. -

Best burger stop. Protein-style with fries and a chocolate shake is my go to every time. You know something is good when you are perfectly content ordering the same thing over and over.

What's not to like? Seriously In & Out is the bomb... One word of warning here though. Do not park in the parking spots directly in front of the front door. When the drive-thru gets backed up you will be stuck.
Stopped by here over the weekend to get a hangover cure... yes, a Double Double animal style with extra pickles always makes me feel better after an evening of adult beverages.
Had lunch with a good friend of mine while her husband was at work. We showed up at the right time because it got packed a few minutes after we walked in. Our food came out quick and the employees were super friendly. This place rocks! -

I love this location better than mission valley, just because there is so much room to eat inside ( i guess it varies what time you go but this is the case when i go)
The wait always varies but its worth it.

I really hope that West Coast appreciates what they have that the Midwest lacks-- an In-N-Out! Whenever I visit friends and Sorority Sisters in the West Coast, going to In-N-Out is a must!
This was my first time entering inside the restaurant and I was surprised to see the fresh quality of the food as well as how productive the staff was. After making my order, I did the whole "wait for your order at the counter", because I requested mine "To Go." Anyways, the staff was really nice! My friend was asking questions about the restaurant to a couple of staff members. They seemed really content with their job as well as atmosphere within the restaurant.
I was also focused and liked that they would cut the fries in front of the customers, so you know that it is definitely fresh! And if you order to dine in, do you ever notice that they cover the fries with a napkin? It's to keep it warm! (..said the staff member) In addition to that, she also mentioned that it may make the fries a little soggy, which is something that I like about fries! Speaking of fries, did you know that you can get that "Animal Style" too??-- in addition to the hamburgers/cheeseburgers? And you can have them "Well done" too! Which makes the fries super crispy-- like you know how you have the ity bity pieces left in the fries container, and they're crispy--- it's just like that, but the regular sized pieces!
Anyways, my conclusion is...
Please move to the Midwest!! (cough cough, CHICAGO, cough cough) haha -

It's like Crack!
My favorite a double double protein animal style with extra extra extra well done animal style fries (they taste like potato chips mmmm)
This location is also AWESOME! fast service (even when they're backed up) and ALWAYS get my order right! -

I dropped off my jeep at Happy Car Wash to be detailed last week.
I was told that it would take at least an hour.
What to do,what to do,
I looked around, and I noticed that there is a 2 story building in the corner a few feet away, called Deja Vu Love's Boutique.
Hey, an adult bookstore!
I can probaly waste some time browsing there.
So I sauntered over, and damn, as soon as I opened the door,I regretted it.
There infront of the cash register was Mrs. G, mother of a good friend of mine, a church-going lady,a lady who knew my parents.
She had a couple of items (battery operated),what looked like lotions, and some condoms. Those items were on the counter.
Uh, awkward,WTF moment.
She looked at me,smiled and said ,"hi Marwin".
I stared at the dildos, and said hi back.
Mrs.G: "Visiting your parents?"
Me: Umm,gulp, yes, Mrs. G,
I grabbed my cell phone, and pretended that I got a call.
Me: He he, it's on vibrate..
Umm, okay, I will be right there. Go ahead order a double-double ,
fries,and Coke for me, Thanks.
Good seeing you again,Mrs.G. Gotta run across the street.
Mrs. G: Enjoy your lunch,Marwin
The five stars review is primarily for the location since it is right across the street.
This restaurant is conveniently located in the corner of Bradley and Magnolia. A few yards away from the 67 exit.
Ample parking. -

Yum-O as Rachel Ray would say. IMHO best fast food burgers ever. They slice their fries fresh right before your eyes . You can really taste the difference between fresh and frozen. Their hamburgers are always fresh never frozen. I usually get a double burger with cheese. I like that they use REAL cheddar too and not american processed junk. The lettuce is crisp, the tomatoes yummy. I'm craving a burger and fries right now as I'm typing this review out. The In-N-Out Burger bug is upon me!! Halp!
BTW, the lines are a little long at the drive-thru but it's worth it since they use fresh ingredients and put forth an effort to making the meal taste great. -
Review from Andrew C.
The San Diego Zoo costs what these days? $28 per adult? Wild Animal park is around $65 and shit, I don't even want to think about Sea World.
This In-N-Out is a different kind of zoo. It's at the confluence of Lakeside, Santee and El Cajon with Alpine just slightly off in the distance. This means that much like rivers running into the sea, a steady stream of Bros flow through this location from open to close. All kinda' Bros too! Everything from good old fashioned Bro-Hoez to the ever elusive "Night Rider Bro" variety. Night Rider Bro comes complete with black shoes, black socks, black boxers, black shorts, black t-shirt, black hat, black glasses and black lifted Ranger sans headlight realignment.
You can see nearly every specimen within a twenty minute visit! What's the cheapest thing on the menu? Fries? For roughly $1.50 you have an excuse to hang out inside, eating slowly catching a glimpse of East County's finest. Besides, who's got $28 to see Pandas? Google Images takes care of those kinds of problems!Listed in: Sandy Eggo, In-N-Out

Before going here to eat an old-fashioned burger 'n fries meal, I'd heard a lot about IN-N-OUT from Yelp and word of mouth...
From what I understand, this place is specific to Cali, but they are spread in a wealthy manner all throughout the state. We stopped in San Diego and Ventura to these locations, and both times, the food was great.
The menu is simple: cheeseburger, double double, hamburger. Fries. Shakes. Old school, and IN-N-OUT accomplishes the feel perfectly. The people working wear old-fashioned burger attire (white, folded hats, clothes from the 50's), and were all extremely polite.
I got the Double Double with fries and a Vanilla Shake. The burger was great -- thick, juicy, and greasy. It included special cause, lettuce, and tomatoes; everything you could want in a great, old-fashioned burger. The fries were also very delicious -- small and big in numbers.
I polished the meal off with a tasty Vanilla Shake, which was DELIGHTFUL. I love my shakes thick, and the shakes from IN-N-OUT proved to make a sweet-tooth like me smile. Extra thick and very creamy...it really was terrific.
If you want a great, old-fashioned burger wih quick service and a simple vibe, Go IN-N-OUT. It's only in Cali, so make sure you swing by when you're there. -
Review from Josephine Z.
San Diego, CA
There's nothing that I enjoy more than an old-fashioned cheeseburger every once in a while.
My first impression was mediocre. It looked like a classic burger joint with the red and yellow (colors that trigger the brain's appetite). The drive-thru line was long and decided to order inside.
411: meat is never frozen, potatoes cut daily....wow, that's really nice to know. Secret menu: animal style fries or burgers, extra crispy or soggy fries, peppers, etc. The bottom of the my cup had a chapter from the Bible, this informs me that the owners are religous. I felt at home.
I like the fact that they serve their burgers "protein style". Although eating it was a little messy, it was good for those watching their waistlines.
I also learned they serve triple-triple, quadruple-quadruple, or however many meat patties you want to digest. I've seen one body-builder looking type eat 6 patties, wow, I was impressed. -

Good food. Friendly Service, and always very clean.
I can barely call this place fast food. And it's not that they don't move quickly enough, it's that they're SO clean, they're so friendly, and you can see the entire kitchen. There's nothing questionable or icky back there.
As someone who's worked fast food in the past, I've accepted that things happen to your food there, it might have been dropped, left under a heating lamp for two hours, or who knows what... You'll never worry about that at In N Out. If you haven't been, go inside, order, and just TRY to worry about your food, you can't do it.
It tastes great, it's fast, the prices are reasonable; and if you ask for animal style fries... You'll get something amazing.
This is a favorite stop for me. -

Guess they took the hint, the staff and food has been stellar for the last couple of months. Always come here for a protein style as they are best hand-crafted bunless wonders on this East side of town!!! LOVE me some in n out.

What is the addiction with this place? And I mean all In-N-Out burger locations.Their buns are plain and even McDonald's has better buns. They end up getting soggy which is just gross. I mean it's nice they put more than cheese and meat on it but seriously I have had better burgers at home.
The fries are thin undercooked and are cold within 3 minutes of receiving them. You have to add your own salt too which I don't really have a problem with because I don't like over salty fries but still.
I just don't get it. The milkshakes are pretty good but I really haven't had a bad milkshake anywhere. How do you make a bad milkshake? Unless it is too thick or too melty.
Go here if you are from out of town and never tried it just so you can say you have. But don't be impressed.Listed in: Burger Joints

This review and rating goes out to all the locations I've ever frequented. Go team In and Out Burger!
Service is fast and friendly. I love how chipper the workers are here...I wish I had that kind of pep and enthusiasm but sadly, I fail in that department.
Onto the food. I'm addicted to the #1 Double Double with Cheese, Fries and a drink. I order it plain because I'm a purist. Actually, I'm a carnivore and don't like ketchup, mustard or secret sauce--not gonna lie. I usually get my fries well-done when I get it bagged up to go because I hate when they get soggy.
I wished they'd bring back the banana milkhake. I used to do half strawberry/half banana all the time and boy would I be a happy flippin' camper. -
Review from Mitch B.
This is like reviewing burgers I cook on the patio. They are consistently delicious and the service is usually better than mine! They never F up your order and even if there are 20 cars in line, you move through within 10 or 15 minutes.
I am so lucky to be living in SoCal so I have access to these burgers. I am from Texas where the equivalent is WhatABurger. If you've ever had one, you know why I'm so happy to be here!
WHEN YOU GO- 3X3 animal style. Guaranteed to induce a semi! -

There's no point in my offering a review for In-N-Out, right? Or is there? Maybe you are reading this right now from your place in Kansas, or Nebraska or Illinois, and you have no idea about the genius of a cheeseburger from here? Maybe you're making a trip to San Diego and in your research you run across this review? Well friend, are you in for a treat. In-N-Out is nothing short of a food miracle. It's beyond delicious, and if you don't love it I'm afraid to inform you that you are no longer allowed in California. In fact, I'm not sure you'd even be human.
Nothing but love for In-N-Out, anytime, anywhere. -

Beware of food poisoning from this place. I ate here a couple of days ago, and not even 12 hours later I was throwing up and crapping my brains out. I'm still not 100% because my chest hurts and I still have diarrhea. The people that are cooking the meat are not cooking it enough.

Always consistent. Double Double, fries and a large shake will run you about $8 bucks. Well worth it. The drive through line is always a little crowded but they get you your stuff pretty quick. I always hook my Double Double up with no tomato and both kinds of onions. Damn tasty! In N Out is by far the best fast food burger you can get. I feel bad for people that live out of state that cant get them ;-) Well not really, but still......every state should have at least one! I heard a rumor too that they are building one in Santee pretty soon. Jackpot!

I LOVE IN-N-OUT!!! Seriously, if In-N-Out were a human, I'd make love to it: animal style.
The burgers are always juicy and cooked perfectly! I'm not big on the animal style burger but I'm loving the animal style fries. Before I had tried the animal style fries, I was never fond of their fries because they would get cold too quickly! But man, I'm addicted! Definitely filling!

This business overall inspires me! Starting rate of pay is nice, especially with the traffic of customers, and expectations of militant quality by coworkers. Promotion within, annual parties thrown as a thank-you for hard-workers, seasonal sports teams promoting team-work! Amazing. Never frozen meat, cooked to order, fresh produce...so delicious(jack n box hurts my stomach, mc donalds make me bloat, most other fast food=some issue)! This store is cleaned Top to Bottom every night, seriously. The faces here are always positive b/c the workfloor is completely open! Store #73!!! woot woot

Well, I felt I should review the greatest fast food burger in the world again! Let me start by saying that, not only has IN-N-OUT Never been a disappointment, but actually never ceases to amaze me! The freshness of their product is such a key to how delicious the burgers really are! The caramelized onions are such a key as well. Keep in mind that their drive- thru is always the busiest of any fast food place around, for good reason of course! And yesterday was no exception! In fact, I have never seen it so busy! I figured it was a popular last meal choice for many people, considering that the world was going to possibly end yesterday! I even tweeted, and posted on facebook that it was my last meal choice! Even with how busy they were, the quality didn't suffer. Amazing as always! Truly My choice for best fast food burger ever!
