I have been tattooed at many establishments. This is THE place to get a beautiful, quality tattoo. The owner, Safwan, is one of the most pleasant human beings I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He builds his own tattoo machines and thus your tattoo experience is that much more customized to your skin/tattoo/taste. He is extremely knowledgeable about the field and will happily answer any questions you have about tattooing.
Every tattoo artist working here has his or her own unique style that will surely appeal to you. Moreover, for the quality of the work being done in this studio, the prices are very much affordable. That being said, you always get what you pay for. There are no scratcher tattoos done here; if anything, the tattoo artists at Imago are often called upon to "fix" or cover up badly done tattoos at other tattoo shops.
I swear by this studio - when I lived in Toronto, I would spend a weekend per month traveling to Montreal solely to get tattooed by Safwan and then make the trek back. It is worth it - just look at his portfolio and/or the other artists' portfolios. A tattoo you get at Imago is one you will surely not regret.
And one piece of advice: never ask if it's going to hurt! Every tattoo artist has heard it countless times and you already know the answer to it anyway, don't you?
