I've been a customer of Ian Marc's for almost 25 years and I must say that his most current location in Bedford rocks! I get the best hair cuts and styles there and am always getting compliments about my hair. He is also offering great spa services, massages, laser hair removal, hair extenstions, keratin straightening and eyelash extensions. The staff are very curteous and friendly. You can even get munchies and drinks while you get your hair styled!

I've been going to Imagine Salon since moving to Halifax two years ago and I love it. Since being a customer at Imagine I have had two different hairstylists, who were both great. I absolutely love how my stylist listens to how I want my hair to look, but then makes suggestions as to what will work for me. She also lays out a plan for the next few haircuts so I know exactly what to expect for future visits.
I had a dramatic colour change from blonde to red at Imagine and although the process has taken a few attempts to get just right, I never felt uneasy at any point. Having trust in your stylist is the most important thing.
Plus, nobody in this world can blow-dry my hair like this girl can. Not a curl left in sight!
I haven't tried the salon for any treatments other than cut and colour, so I can't really comment on their other services, but the staff are all really friendly and helpful.
I find the cost to be pretty standard for a city based salon, I pay around $150 for a full head colour, cut and blow-dry.

We offer Blue Cross billing for massage. We hold an NSLC liquor license. We have a complete line of retail products, in hair, skin care, make up and styling tools~

Established in 1986
We are a full service beauty salon established in 1986, downtown Halifax. In 1996 we expanded to our second location in Kearney Lake, then to our third location in Bedford NS, 2000. In 2002 we made the decision to focus our energy on Bedford, closing Halifax, & Kearney Lake. In 2009 we expanded our salon to 3,300 feet. The decision was also made to change our name from Ian Marc's salon to Imagine salon & spa. Our focus is on our staff and the expanding brand our customers have come to expect. Ian Marc has been a hairstylist for more than 35 years. Beginning his career in Toronto, and developing his skills, he soon realized Nova Scotia was a special place to settle down & raise his family. The opportunity to open the Ian Marc's brand came in 1986, and he enjoys the many customers still visiting the salon. Our company employees over 19 staff that are passionate about education, service & creating wonderful memories with all our guests. Ian's career has taken him in just about every direction the beauty industry can offer. From being president to the Nova Scotia Cosmetology Association, to doing educational work for a major manufacturer, Ian believes in giving back.
