Review from Jennifer P.
Edmonton, AB
This is one of the best dining experiences in the city. To go and really do it up here, it'll cost you upwards of $150-$200 with a nice bottle of wine, appetizers, two courses, dessert and aperitif. At that price it would be a rare treat for most, so my partner and I just go and enjoy the classy atmosphere, sit up at their tiny bar and enjoy a modest sampling of their appetizers, so we can do it more often. Our favourite pickings are the fried calamari with lemon and sea salt ($6), the arugula prosciutto and grilled radicchio salad with blood orange dressing ($9), their amazing bruschetta with fresh tomato, basil, garlic and olive oil ($5) and I top it off with a glass of fantastic wine - the Pino Noir, while my sweetheart prefers a cold pint of Keith's. Although it's a more upscale joint and you may be dining in the same room as a wedding party or well-dressed couple on their anniversary, the staff treat you just as nicely if you're in jeans as if you're dolled up in an evening dress or tuxedo.
