My wife loves a good day at the spa. We lived overseas for many years and there, as opposed to here, you can always find spa services for super cheap. So, since we moved back to Canada, my wife has be searching for spa places that measured up to the spoiling she got in Bali, Thailand and Korea. Il Paradiso was such a magical find for her. First of all, it is a COMPLETE spa - waxing (ugh), manicures, electrolysis (yikes), electrocoagulation (what the hell?), facials, tanning, massage, body wraps, exfoliation, etc. My wife had a pedicure (that came with a lower leg massage) and it cost $50. However, the water her feet soaked in was flat, not bubbling. And, her chair did not offer much neck support. Otherwise, she love it!

I thought that this place would be nice because I have been to the Billings Bridge which is gorgeous, but boy was I wrong. The tools were "budget" brand, my nails were filed improperly (I had to even then out in the car), the pedicure station was basically a shower, the polish bottles were in a big messy basket. Not hygienic. Dusty and dirty. I wouldn't go back, not even for free.
