Its kinda small. The tables, especially when full, seem clumped together. As if there isn't much room to walk. Oh, and if you're a small party, be prepared to sit very near another small party. Close enough that you can probably pass as the same party!
Still, I like this IHOP. Service is timely and they've never made a mistake a long a I've been coming here. Also, the wait is either non existent or very short! -

The place is just way too small, and not in a cozy way. Its just clamped together. During my very brief visit there, we were seated at a table for four that had a tiny bar down the center to superficially make it 'two' tables for two.
So we basically were sitting next to another man at our table that lacked any privacy and were forced to listen to the man next to us constantly snort like a pig for no reason.
The aisles are narrow and one lane only, meaning if you get up to use the restroom you're going to be in the way of servers and its going to be awkward to get through.
We quickly decided to leave and try another IHOP elsewhere so I asked for the check on the single small glass of OJ I had ordered so far and I was charged $5+ for it. $5+ for a tiny glass of OJ?
Avoid this place at all costs, no offense to the staff there. -

I like IHOP but this location SUCKSSS!!
It's entirely too small to meet the demand of its customers.
I come here when I am too lazy to drive to the other location in El Segundo.
My pancakes are ALWAYS cooked a little too hard and its unsettling to see the staff running around like they're chickens with their heads cut off.
The staff is great though.
Parking is also a pain at times. -

Great place to go if you want to wait an hour for cold breakfast, no refills on drinks, and horrible service. Dude gave me a coupon for a free breakfast, I told him to keep it cos I was never coming back. Also, it's not IHOP any more, it's Pancake Factory, but there still using IHOP's stuff. Wish I could give it zero stars.

I came here for breakfast today and WOW. This place has gone downhill ever since they moved locations. It feels more like a fast food Denny's than a restaurant that it used to be. Our waitress was nowhere to be found and hastily took our orders. Then came back with the food and a check 5 minutes later. Uhhh okay feels like waitress name Monica really wanted me to leave. She told me to pick it whenever i was ready. okay. 10 minutes later she comes again and reminds us that the check is on the table. OKAY thanks we know. Then 15 minutes later she comes back and tells us to pay for the check NOW because she was leaving now and didn't want to wait. Uhhh wow okay really? I whipped out my card and gave it to her. She brings back the receipt to sign and she stands there waiting for me to sign it. RELAX YOUR FACE ILL SIGN IT AND LEAVE IT ON TE TABLE. WOW. Never in my life have i been rushed so much and pushed to pay my check.

Now... Let me say this. While I love IHOP, and while I've also been coming here for years, this IHOP definately is one you want to avoid unless you're local and too lazy to drive to the airport one. Let's just be honest, the place is small, too small, the middle section sucks to sit at on a busy morning. You feel like you're sitting at one table with two other people you don't know. It's awkward.
The food is fine, your typical IHOP stuff, but they aren't as flexible here as at the airport IHOP either. You ask for 2 pancakes on the side, they'll bring you 4 and charge you an extra meal. Stuff like that's only frosting anyway, but when there's an IHOP that will do anything I ask and I don't have to feel weird at while I eat, and it's only 10 minutes on the freeway, then this IHOP rarely gets visits. -

Based on the quality of food alone, it's 4 and a half stars, but it gets an extra star and half for the wonderful service there. I never had have any problem and when my friends and I go in. It's usually nearly empty every time we go in because we alway go in there just before or after the lunch rush.
The manger (one with a smiley tattooed some where near her ear) is super nice! She always make sure My friends and I are satisfied with our food and the services. Also, every time we leave, she always says in a very inviting way, "Please come back again!"
The manager always makes me feels like I'm visiting someone's house rather than a cold, heart less restaurant with the waiters' fake kindness behind the cold, stark professionalism.Listed in: Hungry at El Camino College

Food is good. Service is great, spot-on, even for lunch. Manager is always really nice & friendly. I don't go in often, but they are always really nice. No problems.
I will say that the place is a bit cramped and usually busy. I guess that is just how it is. TIP: watch the ihop website for deals. They have 100% FREE PANCAKES for Fat Tuesday every year.
Sirloin Tips & Eggs is awesome. Well worth it. I've had twice & will again. Pancakes are good, soft of soft & mushy, but that is the goal. I grew up on whole wheat pancakes, which are stiffer, that's just me. My GF loves the International Crepes.
I love how I can be freezing until I get to iHop, and it's all warm & cozy inside. -

This is purely based on my non pancake order. We came here by accident. In fact, I never knew there was one here tucked in tight between other restaurants. It's small, cozy and the service was friendly.
The menu listed caloric counts. I felt guilty but grateful that calories were listed. Hey at least, you KNOW you're being bad.
Anyway, our waittress was nice but a bit out of it. I ordered onion rings with my sandwich and got fries instead. When I pointed this out to her, she realized the error and before I can eat my sandwich, she grabbed my plate. Now since it was their error, why prolong my enjoyment of dinner? So she comes back with my plate sans fries. Now, would they lose money because I ate one or two fries? Seriously, I was annoyed.
However, a few minutes later, she cheerfully drops off the sorriest looking onion rings I've ever seen. There was barely a handful and some were very dark (as in double fried) and some werent. Inconsistency and bad presentation. I summoned a nearby server and asked her for a new plate of onion rings.
I can't blame the servers for poor looking o-rings but the server does have the power to ask for better looking set.
Our server came back apologetically and that was fine but she continues with "this is what they normally look like and people ask for them to be that dark." HUH?
Anyway, without a request, the restaurant graciously comped me 25% off my bill. Thank you, so this is a 3 star instead of 2 star rating. At $8 per sandwich, I would have been ticked off especially since this was a very overpriced and just ok sandwich.
Overall, I would need to come back for the pancakes and maybe the rating would be higher.
The cashier/manager was friendly though. -

this is my IHOP to go to. Me and my father love coming to this one and we do so often. The service is awesome. always so friendly and prompt. even when there is a little bit of a rush the service does not lack at all.

Food was very nice. Restaurant was clean. Service was excellent. Monica was our waitress and she was attentive, polite and very friendly. I will definitely go back and sit in her section.
