I'm really not a big fan of IGA. It's convenient because it is right beside my school but I would never get groceries here if it weren't for that. And even now, I only stop in if I'm desperate for a quick bite to eat or I want an apple to eat during class.
I guess one of my biggest issues with this IGA is how run down it is. It just doesn't look good. Why would I want to buy my food from a place that looks dirty and run down?
Also, they don't have the selection that Save-on and Safeway have.
Also, the staff are not friendly. I try to be friendly to them my efforts are rewarded with rolling eyes, forced smiles, and fake interest.
It's just not a pleasant experience.
