This is a recently opened continental Chinese restaurant located in Richmond. It's tucked away in a small strip mall and parking was a bit troublesome due to the other restaurants in their area. However, if you come here for dinner, you "could" park in the lot across the street and walk over.

Parking aside, I've been here three times now, once just for bubble-tea and the twice for quick eats with my mom and dad for dinner.

Ambiance (3/5) - For a Chinese cafe, it was well appointed. There were some areas that lack the finish of a higher end restaurant, but I was happy with the place. The booths were finished with velvet and faux leather, which was a nice change. I only have one complaint about the place and it's the tables that really bother me...they are on the small side and when you order that dinner special I was talking about, it gets a bit cramped. This bugged me because there was so much open space!!

Food (3/5) They have a decent spread available in the menu, from sizzling hot-pots to fusion-style fare like Cuttlefish & Clam penne. I've tried their spicy chili beef with rice and it was quite delish!! A good number of chilis and green onions help perk up the visually boring, (but tasty!) browned beef slices. They also have a dinner special where you get 3 dishes and a large bowl of soup to share (ideally this is ordered with 3 or more people). Can't remember the price off the top of my head now, but everything on the menu is quite reasonably priced.

I also came here for bubble-tea as I mentioned and the drink selection was a bit limited. The usual fare is there, but no fresh fruit slushies or the like. (Single tear rolls down my cheek). However, the passion-fruit green tea I had was well made. The pearls were perfectly cooked and it wasn't too sweet.

Service (4/5) -  Attentive and dare I say, easy on the eyes. Cindy was the name of one of our servers, spoke only Mandarin (thankfully, wifey was there), but was always quick to answer our questions and to take our order. Food came out quickly and was timed well, so that our soup came  first and we were able to have a bowl of that and then some before our first dish arrived. There are a few of them that also speak Cantonese and English too, so no worries on the language front.

Overall, I would come back here and recommend you try this place out.
