Oh boy. Where do I start.
First and foremost is to understand that this 'lounge' is smack dab in the middle of Greek town. Knowing this, it becomes a little easier to grasp the type of crowd that hangs out here. Friday nights are Bulgarian nights... A lot of men with too much gel in their hair with shirts too tight and girls wearing too little clothing with too much coverup and too much mascara. And heavy accents every which way you turn...
Very much in the opposite direction of what I look for when I go out. They have techno dance beats instead of good rock or indie music.
BUT. The owner is quite the character. Almost like he was born to own a 'lounge'. He can chat up women like there is no tomorrow and hires only the most questionable foreign girls who prance around in five inch heels with their cleavage pouring out from shirts that are barely there. Yes.. You might feel slightly like you have just stumbled into a whore-house, but be calm, it is all just for aesthetic.
The decor is pleasing and the drink list is long and everyone is welcomed in with open arms and a big Greek smile from the young 40-year-old owner and his band of blossoming 20-year-olds.
Great place to stop by for some drinks and if you are into the music, they have a dance floor on the lower level for your techno-beating delight!
The place doesn't pick up until 12/1 ish, but fabulous for people watching earlier in the day.
